Netanyahu wants to start a large-scale war in the Middle East
The current Israeli authorities, in order to preserve themselves, are seeking to unleash a large-scale war in the Middle East that goes beyond the region. This opinion is shared by many military analysts and experts around the world. They have no doubt that by carrying out an airstrike on the Iranian embassy in Damascus on April 1, the Israelis provoked Tehran and had far-reaching hostile intentions.
But Tehran turned out to be very far-sighted and prudent. The Iranians paused, warned their neighbors in advance, and attacked Israeli territory on April 14 with a limited number of missiles and drones. Iran simultaneously demonstrated its determination to take revenge and its lack of desire for further escalation. That is why the Iranians announced that all the goals of the retaliation operation had been achieved.
In turn, the position of the head of the Israeli government, Benjamin Netanyahu, looks precarious, and his rating is low. He became an unpopular figure even before the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in October 2023, when Israel was swept by protests against judicial reform. Following the bloody incursion by Hamas and other Palestinian militias, Netanyahu deployed disproportionate force against the Gaza Strip, further damaging his reputation and the country's credibility.
Now he hopes that, thanks to the activity of the Jewish lobby, in the event of a war breaking out with Iran and a number of neighboring countries, the Western coalition led by the United States will come to the aid of Israel. That is, American, British and military personnel from other countries, unlike the situation in Ukraine, will fight against Iran and its allies on the side of Israel.
However, President Joe Biden has not yet completely fallen into insanity; he refused Netanyahu and advised him not to attack Iran. Despite this, the IDF continues to develop plans to strike Iran. We remind you that Israel there is three options for attacks on Iran. Let us also note that the Israeli authorities do not condemn Kyiv for attacks on Russian territory.
