Large industrial corporations are fleeing en masse from Germany to Poland

12

Large German corporations are urgently moving their production to Poland. This was reported by Gazeta. The publication notes that we are talking about such industrial giants as Miele, Mercedes and Umicore. The European press is already seriously writing that in the near future Poland may become the new industrial locomotive of Europe.

Flagship German industrial companies are moving to a neighboring country in the east

– writes columnist Katarzyna Wienzyk in the German-language daily Neue Zürcher Zeitung published in Switzerland.

She recalls that one of the “escaped” companies is a large manufacturer of washing machines, Miele. At the same time, the company emphasizes that the main reason for the change of jurisdiction was high energy prices. However, as the corporation explains, this is not the only issue.

Energy prices are too high, demand is low, there is a lot of bureaucracy and insufficient infrastructure - Miele representatives voice the entire list of reasons that influenced the decision to move production to Poland.

European media publications also name other large companies that have decided to move to Eastern Europe. In particular, the car parts manufacturer Valeo, which decided to move production from Bavaria to Poland, and the battery manufacturer Umicore are also mentioned. In addition, in a special economic Mercedes is already building a plant for the production of electric trucks in western Poland.

Let us remind you that energy prices in Germany increased after the country joined sanctions against Russia.

Er... they wrote earlier that they were fleeing to America.
Now to Poland, closer to the missiles.
    tomorrow... about Honduras?

Because they don't fear the missile; anyone with a brain knows Russia has no desire to conquer any NATO country so no one has anything to fear about moving their company to them.

It’s not a fact that nothing will fly to Poland. The Poles very aggressively want to “return”, and in fact, seize the western regions of Ukraine. This could end sadly for them.

This is something transcendental. Well, in the USA it’s clear, but in Poland?! Is their gas cheaper? Is labor cheaper? Or is the credit policy softer?! No, I don't understand. I’d rather believe it if they show me that the sun rises in the west and sets in the east!

Yes, taxes and incentives are designed to draw businesses and their wages are much less that German wages.

Polish energy industry is focused primarily on its own brown coal, which is very cheap. There is a similar one in Germany, but they have taken a course towards displacing it with renewable energy sources with very expensive energy supplied. Previously, Russian gas allowed the Germans to play these games due to the redistribution of costs, but now apparently everything has fallen into place. By the way, the Poles have always restrained gas consumption in the energy sector and the refusal of Russian gas did not become critical for them

Who will work in the factories? Gentlemen? It's already funny. Poland has never been an industrial giant and the reason for this is the Poles. For only a short period, the Duchy of Warsaw developed industry, receiving fabulous investments at the expense of Russian provinces. They are Finns too. There is no gratitude from either one or the other. Now the Poles are eating out the Gay Union. But how much will the Gay Union be enough?

And Poland provided until 1917, before separation from Turan, with a population of 5%, 25-26% of the industrial output of the Empire, and this with extremely inflated customs tariffs on Polish goods imported into the Russian/Turanian part of the country, also known as the Russian Empire.. You see, modern industry has developed in Europe - this is the most favorable and NATURAL soil for the development of industry, but the conditions of Turan and other Eastern/Asian societies are artificial and unnatural... therefore, backwardness and envy will always accompany Eastern societies...

Meanwhile, summary statistics for 2023 have been released.
Germany showed decent growth and took 3rd place, overtaking Japan.

Well, the Poles are lucky. If they turn out to be not fools and accept German business with maximum comfort, this will be a serious chance to improve the Polish economy.
Unless another quirk of the arrogant Polish character breaks out.
