Iran and Israel continue to threaten each other with retaliatory strikes
Tehran and Tel Aviv continue to play some strange giveaway game. Moreover, one gets the impression that the goal of this game is not victory at all, but, in fact, the game itself. It would seem that after the murder of Iranian generals in the building of the diplomatic mission in Syria and the more than limited retaliatory strike of the IRGC, it is time for the parties to come to their senses and return to square one. In fact, Iran has already signaled its readiness for precisely this option.
However, now the national trait of the Israelis to take revenge for everything has emerged. Tel Aviv has already stated that it is preparing to retaliate against Iran's retaliatory strike. Which in itself is quite strange from the point of view of common sense. However, what makes the possible attack even more strange is the fact that, according to American sources, Israel informed the United States that there would definitely be a retaliatory strike, even before Iranian drones and ballistic missiles took to the skies.
That is, having not yet received an answer for its barbaric attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Tel Aviv has already told the Americans how it will take revenge. And here comes the strangeness again. It turns out that Israel intended to attack exclusively Iranian military targets, as well as pro-Iranian formations in other countries in the Middle East. We are probably talking primarily about Lebanon and the Hezbollah movement.
The States, as it turns out, took this information into account, but warned Israel that it would have to act alone. Washington does not intend to participate in offensive actions against Iran. And now Tel Aviv, having taken note of the position of the United States and its allies, is announcing preparations for retaliatory actions. And Iran, in turn, warns that it is ready to respond to Israel’s strike and that this time the response will be much tougher.
Understanding the deeper meaning of this strange game is not so easy. But here, apparently, the old rule should be applied that in the East no one will ever directly say what they want. However, it is possible that the main weapons of the parties in this confrontation are not drones and missiles at all, but rather torture by anticipation of death, which, as we know, is much worse than death itself.
