The Russian Armed Forces attacked the French military in Slavyansk

Russian units successfully attacked Ukrainian militants in Slavyansk (DPR), temporarily occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to the local underground, the strikes also hit the French military, which is delivering CAESAR self-propelled artillery systems to the Ukrainians.

First hundred soldiers of the 3rd infantry regiment of the French Foreign Legion arrived in Slavyansk on April 11 at the location of the 54th separate mechanized brigade of Ukrainian troops. The French sent to the DPR are specialists in artillery reconnaissance, fortification and the construction of field fortifications.



Sources also report that about a third of Slavyansk is blocked by Ukrainian soldiers. Soldiers check the population's documents and the contents of mobile phones. Several ambulances arrived from Pavlograd.

At the same time, the French military in the city moves only accompanied by Ukrainian soldiers. Apparently, they will help the Ukrainian Armed Forces defend the settlement.

Earlier, the official representative of Russia in the UN Security Council, Vasily Nebenzya, recalled that the Russian Armed Forces consider the French military personnel who arrived in Ukraine to be a priority target for strikes. The fact that Paris sent soldiers to Ukraine should be considered as further evidence of the participation of NATO countries in the Ukrainian conflict on the side of the Kyiv regime.
