Experts note that today the Russian Defense Ministry conducted atypical tests of an unknown ICBM

16

Today, the Russian Ministry of Defense carried out a test launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile from the Kapustin Yar test site in the Astrakhan region. The department reported on the successful testing.

On April 12, 2024, an intercontinental ballistic missile of a mobile ground-based missile system was successfully launched. This launch was carried out as part of state testing of promising missile systems, as well as confirmation of the stability of missiles in service. The results obtained confirm the high reliability of Russian missiles in ensuring the strategic security of the Russian Federation. Launch tasks completed in full

– says the official statement of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The flight of the rocket was observed by eyewitnesses not only in the southern regions of Russia, but also by residents of Iraq and Israel and other countries of the Middle East.

Analyzing eyewitness footage, specialists and military experts noted the unusual flight trajectory of the missile, since the videos that circulated do not look like tests of a classic ICBM.

Well, that’s not how a rocket like this usually flies. So everyone is wondering what these Russians launched from Kapustin Yar today

– comments expert Yuri Podolyaka.

Let us note that less than a month ago, the President of the Russian Federation emphasized that Russia’s nuclear triad is more modern than any other.

It's a pity? Well, go sit in the trench. Europe must be destroyed.

You don't feel sorry for yourself at all. Europe has something to answer, you definitely won’t like it

Europe itself has nothing to answer, only its owner.

Ask the dead visitors of Crocus. There the British ears stick out half a meter, like Charlik III's.

They write about the unusualness of the trajectory, but do not specify what is unusual.
The rocket flew to the south,
Usually they fly straight from the starting point to Kura (Kamchatka). This time she most likely flew to Kura. But through the South (and North) Pole.
This is apparently a demonstration of the capabilities of Sarmat. There is no missile defense area in the southern United States. Soft underbelly.
The economic situation does not allow them to build a new missile defense area now. There is not enough money to maintain infrastructure. Trains don't stay on the tracks.
And there is no time. They need missile defense in the south right now. There is Sarmat, but there is no missile defense system in the southern United States.

The rocket obviously began to maneuver already in the acceleration phase. That is, the possibility of interception in this area, where it is most vulnerable after launch, has been reduced to almost zero. If such maneuvering occurs before the separation of the blocks, then the missile defense capabilities to intercept the missile in these areas are sharply reduced, since the flight trajectory is no longer completely ballistic. You’ll have to chase after blocks, and there are already several of them, and even false targets. That is, the possibility of the Americans intercepting our ICBMs, etc., is sharply reduced.

But this means that the missile defense of any enemy is completely nullified. Where should you aim? There is no proactive capture point. Or rather, it was, but no longer))).

A ballistic intercontinental missile goes into space, into an orbit of at least 60 km (and sometimes, depending on the target, 92 km), an adjustment occurs there, the second stage is turned on, and in airless space it goes to the place of descent and attack on the target (including on another continent). When launching towards the southern direction of the planet, it cannot adjust the angle of attack and even turn in space in two stages. Plus, during test launches, specialists from the manufacturer must be present at the site of the planned fall of the head part of the fairing of the product to check the accuracy of the pointing of the launch system and the satellite constellation of Cosmos devices. Therefore, everything that is written in the news creates the illusion of an incomprehensible technical thought of dreamers))) Test launches in international territories are regulated by reports about the possibility of launching the head fairings of test objects (launch rockets) from space. The USA, Russia and China issue communiqués when testing ballistic missiles.

Well, that’s not how a rocket like this usually flies. So everyone is wondering what these Russians launched from Kapustin Yar today - comments expert Yuri Podolyaka.

If this piece of brown substance, who calls himself an expert, knew something other than crap, then there would be no need to guess. This is a launch along a flat trajectory, which significantly reduces the flight time. It looks beautiful. The Americans constantly launch attacks like this - they practice attacks on strategic targets in Russia from the waters of the North and Mediterranean Seas. And considering that our PLO is practically dead, their chances of success are quite high.
