NATO aircraft show unusual activity in the direction of the Leningrad region
On the eve of the Three Seas Initiative summit, which starts today in Vilnius, there is an abnormally high activity of NATO aircraft in the skies over the Baltic region. According to the Flightradar24 service, several North Atlantic Alliance aircraft are currently in the air.
In particular, reconnaissance aircraft Gulfstream IV, Boeing RC-135 Rivet Joint, Gulfstream G550AEW, as well as Boeing E-34 Sentry are in the airspace in the direction of the Leningrad region of the Russian Federation.
Apparently, some of these aircraft carry out reconnaissance functions in the skies over the Baltic, others are likely carrying high-ranking passengers. It is reported that the summit in Lithuania will be attended by representatives from 25 countries, including the heads of ten states. It is known, in particular, that among the participants will be the President of Poland Andrzej Duda, as well as the heads of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
The agenda of the summit includes a discussion of the development of relations in the fields of transport, energy and cybersecurity. However, there is a high probability that the topic of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict will also be in the focus of attention of the participants.
Let us note that both Poland and the Baltic countries are active supporters of further supplies of weapons to the Kyiv regime and insist on fighting until the last Ukrainian.
