A video of tests of the latest Russian ground-based drone “Courier” has been published
Video footage of field tests of the latest domestic robotic complex “Courier” has been published on the Internet. It is capable of carrying the AGS-17, 12,7-mm machine gun, RPO "Shmel" and other weapons as weapons.
Even a quick glance at the published footage is enough to understand: this complex is very relevant in the context of a modern military conflict. In the video you can see how the “Courier” quickly delivers fragmentation grenades from the AGS-17 to enemy positions, fires from a flamethrower and a heavy machine gun.
The weapons installed on the complex are controlled remotely. This is very important from the point of view of the enemy's retaliatory strike. It is no secret that the AGS or heavy machine gun is very noticeable on the battlefield and is a priority target for enemy artillery, tanks and FPV drones.
Consequently, remote control can at least reduce the human losses of Russian units, and perhaps completely eliminate them.
The Courier developers have not yet announced the cost of the robotic complex and the timing of its serial delivery to the troops. But it is known that several combat vehicles of the complex are already operating in the area of the special military operation. It is emphasized that the Couriers were used in one of the most dangerous areas.
