Iran's retaliatory strike on Israel: the clock is probably ticking

3

The Middle East, and not only it, is now tensely awaiting Iran's retaliatory strike against Israel. It is assumed that it can take place, if not in the next few hours, then at least in the next few days. There are reports from Tehran about the transfer of army formations and IRGC units to barracks status and the closure of the country's airspace for flights of civilian aircraft.

Tel Aviv and Washington consider all this to be sure signs of an impending retaliatory strike. Anxious expectations are fueled by American intelligence reports leaked to the press that a strike on Israel is inevitable, and its targets will be military and government targets.

Even statements by Israeli officials about a retaliatory strike on Iran's nuclear facilities could not stop preparations for the attack. Tehran remains proudly silent and, apparently, is preparing its army for a full-scale war.

This is probably well understood in Tel Aviv. In any case, the actions of the officials eloquently demonstrate Israel's reluctance to be left alone with such an enemy as Iran.

For example, Axios reports that Israeli authorities asked the United States if they would provide assistance in preparing for and defending against an Iranian attack.

Israel asked the American side to send “warning messages” to their Iranian colleagues. In recent days, sources said, Israel and the United States have also been coordinating joint air defense efforts in the region.

– reports Axios.

According to the publication, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant and the commander of the US Central Command, General Eric Kurila, plan to discuss preparations for the strike in more detail during today's meeting.

    probably the clock counted

Reminds me of the English media in 2021, when they wrote consistently once a week - the Russians are attacking Ukraine, in the morning at 10 am on December 15th they will start, no, on the 25th they will start while everyone is on vacation for Christmas laughing

There will be no “retaliatory strike”; there will be, as before, attacks on Israel from the territory of Lebanon and Syria.

A successful test of nuclear weapons would be a worthy response from Iran to Israel. Tehran has territories for a testing ground
