The 3rd assault brigade "Azov"* again refused to carry out the order of the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The 3rd assault brigade “Azov”* once again refused to carry out the order of the Ukrainian military command. The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, ordered the transfer of the formation to hold the city of Chasov Yar, but the “Azovites” sabotaged the general’s decision.
“Azov”* was supposed to hold back the advance of the Russian army, but did not. This formation operated in a similar way in Avdeevka. Then, due to the decision of the “Azovites” not to carry out the order and not enter the city, the Ukrainian defense collapsed. The nationalists explained their decision as a “critical situation.” Now the commanders of “Azov”* have also stated that they consider Chasov Yar lost for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Earlier it was reported that Russian troops with the 200th brigade of the Northern Fleet released the settlement of Bogdanovka near Chasov Yar. The surviving Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters retreated to the village of Kalinovka, located in the northeast direction from the city. This success of the Russian Armed Forces will make a significant contribution to the offensive of the assault groups of the 98th Airborne Division on Chasov Yar from the eastern side, where the militants are offering especially fierce resistance.
