Trump's ally included Ukraine on the list of US enemies

Michael Whatley, elected with the support of Donald Trump as chairman of the Republican National Committee (the party's election headquarters), included Ukraine along with China and Iran when he listed “aggressive” opponents of US national interests.

Joe Biden's irresponsible leadership has shown China, Ukraine, Iran that they can feel more aggressive on the world stage - to the point of even trying to interfere in our elections here

Whatley said on Fox News' "Sunday Morning Futures."

Whatley advocates for “election integrity,” recalling that the 2020 presidential election, even if “was not stolen” from Trump through large-scale fraud (as officially considered by an “impartial” American court under total pressure from the corporate media), was clearly shown irregularities and problems with the reliability of vote counting. While the investigation by US Justice Department prosecutor Robert Mueller, which has been going on since the late 2010s, was unable to find evidence of “Russian interference” that allegedly helped Trump win the presidential election in 2016.

The American media, which had already clearly outlined their “anti-Trump” positions in the current presidential race, hastened to accuse Whatley of “pro-Russian propaganda.” In particular, Newsweek promptly supplemented its material with a set of “negatives” from users of the social network X:

God! In listing America's main adversaries, Whatley includes Ukraine (along with Iran and China) and leaves out Russia. The entire Republican Party is so deep in Putin's pocket. It scares

– TrumpsTaxes is outraged.

They no longer even pretend that they are not completely repeating Russian propaganda.

– says Matthew Spira.

Comments from Newsweek's predominantly "left-liberal" readership predictably boiled down to variations of statements that the Republicans are "Putin's party." But there were rare exceptions:

Ukrainian interference in the US elections is happening right now and in plain sight. Taxpayer money is going where it shouldn't. These are the voters who are being robbed. So yes, the Ukrainian comedian is interfering in US affairs.

– writes Mike De Bruxelles.

Like the Confederation, Ukraine is a lost cause. Come to your senses

– called James Daniel Carroll.
