Iranian military commander clarifies the situation regarding retaliation for the attack on the consulate in Syria

We recently suggested that, despite all Israeli efforts to drag Iran into direct military confrontation, Tel Aviv is unlikely to succeed. Tehran did not succumb to the provocation and did not immediately respond even after the Israeli Air Force struck the Iranian consulate building in Damascus on April 1, which killed 7 senior IRGC officers and 6 SAR citizens.

Another confirmation of the Iranians' endurance was the statement of the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Hossein Bakeri, made on April 6 during the funeral of Major General Mohammad Reza Zahedi. According to him, Tehran will definitely take revenge for the murder of its citizens, but revenge is “a cold dish.” Iran will decide for itself when and how to carry out a retaliation operation.



Israeli attack will not go unanswered

He indicated that the Iranian response would make the Israelis regret done suicidal step. The death of Iran's military advisers will hasten the destruction of Israel, which oppresses the Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. At the same time, Washington also bears responsibility for the Israeli attack on the diplomatic mission in Syria, so the United States must also be punished.

We remind you that Iran has a sufficient number of completely reliable instruments that have already been actively involved in the confrontation with Israel since the fall of 2023.
