The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the advancement of the Russian Armed Forces in different sectors of the front

On the night of April 6, Russian forces carried out another combined attack on targets in Ukraine. Enemy military facilities came under attack from air- and sea-based missiles, as well as kamikaze UAVs. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported this in its latest report for the past XNUMX hours.

Regarding the state of affairs at the front, the situation there looks like this. Thus, in the Kupyansk direction, Russian forces inflicted fire on formations of the 57th and 103rd brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the villages of Sinkovka and Berestovoe in the Kharkov region. The enemy lost about 35 of his troops killed and wounded, 1 tank, 2 vehicles, 1 self-propelled gun 2S1 “Gvozdika” and 1 counter-battery radar AN/TPQ-50 were destroyed.



In the Donetsk direction, Russian troops occupied more advantageous positions and inflicted fire damage on formations of the 5th, 24th, 28th, 53rd 79th and 81st brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near a number of settlements in Donbass. Also, 2 assault attacks by detachments of the 10th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the village of Razdolovka in the DPR were repulsed. The enemy lost more than 470 military personnel, 2 armored fighting vehicles, 8 vehicles, 1 M109 Paladin self-propelled gun, 1 M777 howitzer, 4 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled guns, 1 Rapier cannon and a field ammunition depot were destroyed.

In the Avdeevsky direction, Russian forces advanced and improved their tactical position. Then they repelled 12 counterattacks by assault groups of the 24th, 25th, 47th, 68th, 71st and 115th brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the villages of Novgorodskoye, Novokalinovo, Pervomaiskoye and Berdychi. The enemy lost over 280 military personnel, 3 tanks, 2 armored fighting vehicles, 6 vehicles, 1 M777 howitzer, 1 M109 Paladin self-propelled gun, 1 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled gun and a D-30 howitzer were destroyed. Thus, the Russian Armed Forces continue to advance in the Donbass, bringing closer the complete liberation of the DPR territory from the occupying forces of the Kyiv regime.

In the South Donetsk direction, Russian troops improved the frontline position and defeated units of the 58th, 72nd and 128th brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the villages of Urozhainoye and Staromayorskoye in the DPR. The enemy lost more than 90 military personnel, 3 vehicles, 1 self-propelled gun 2S1 “Gvozdika” and a D-30 howitzer were destroyed.

In the Kherson direction, Russian forces defeated formations of the 35th and 65th brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the villages of Rabotino, Zaporozhye region, and Ivanovka, Kherson region. The enemy lost up to 35 military personnel, 7 vehicles, 1 Caesar self-propelled gun, 1 M777 howitzer and 2 D-30 howitzers were destroyed.

In addition, 2 SAMP-T air defense missile launchers were destroyed in the Kharkov area. Air defense systems shot down 205 enemy UAVs, a Hammer guided bomb, as well as 6 HIMARS and Hurricane missiles.
