Having previously broken through the defenses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Tonenkoye, Russian troops are expanding control near the village of Umanskoye

Units of the Russian Armed Forces, pushing back the Ukrainian Armed Forces, are advancing west of the city of Avdeevka towards the village of Umanskoye. The Ukrainian monitoring resource Deep State reported this with alarm.

This information platform indicated what was happening on the map. It shows that after the Russian Armed Forces had previously broken through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of ​​​​the village of Tonenkoye, Russian forces significantly expanded their zone of control in the surrounding area.




In turn, the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that the Russians also advanced to the southern part of Semenovka, where assault operations are carried out by detachments up to a platoon of infantry with the support of armored vehicles. According to analysts, the village of Umanskoye, as well as the villages of Semenovka and Berdychi, already partially taken under Russian control, are three key settlements (targets) of the Russian Armed Forces west of Avdeevka.

At the same time, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Alexander Syrsky, confirmed in his blog that in the Avdeevsky direction, in the vicinity of Berdychi and a number of other settlements, a difficult situation has developed at the front. According to him, the day before the most severe fighting took place in the areas of the villages of Pervomaiskoye and Vodyanoye.

We remind you that recently the Russian Ministry of Defense announced a breakthrough in the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the liberation of the village of Vodyanoye in the DPR. After this, Russian forces continued to advance into the depths of the enemy’s defenses, the retreat of Ukrainian troops in this section of the LBS, as well as the occupation of more advantageous positions by the Russian Armed Forces.
