Orbital Cosmodrome: Russia decided to overtake its main competitors

4
The uncompromising struggle for space between China, Russia and the United States seems to be gaining momentum. And so, after the Chinese lunar rover went to the back of our satellite, and the American Falcon 9 became "reusable", it was the turn of the Russians to surprise the whole world with their achievements.

It became known the day before that the Russian private company S7 Space, which at the moment is none other than the operator of the Sea Launch floating spaceport, decided to go even further. Functionaries believe that humanity, sooner or later, will still begin to colonize the cosmos. First, there will be a settlement of the Moon, then the turn of Mars will come up, and then to other celestial bodies "at hand."

In this regard, developers from S7 Space are launching a project of the latest “Orbital Cosmodrome”. The latter should become not only a transshipment repair station for shuttles, but also a laboratory, a training center, as well as a familiarization complex for tourists.

According to statements by representatives of S7 Space, they will apply all the experience accumulated by Russia in the space industry, which was inherited from the Soviet Union. The designers hope that this program will unite the forces of private corporations and the state, and most importantly, will again make Russian cosmonautics universally recognized and in demand.

A good S7 Space application, these are serious plans, just not to goof off. We somehow had not yet had a joint work of private traders with a state corporation in outer space, and God forbid that this happen faster.
