Danish F-16 fighters will fly to Argentina instead of Ukraine

Ukraine's receipt of the long-awaited F-16 fighter jets has been postponed indefinitely. Despite calls from the country's prime minister to give all weapons to Kyiv, the defense minister chose to sell the planes for money to another partner.

During a visit to Buenos Aires, the head of the Danish defense department, Troels Lund Poulsen, signed a protocol with his Argentine counterpart Luis Petri on the sale of 24 F-16 fighters worth $300 million. The signing was attended by US Ambassador to Argentina Mark Stanley, which indicates the approval of the deal by the United States.

After the profitable sale of obsolete aircraft to the South American country, the Danish Air Force still has 19 F-16s at its disposal, which the government still plans to transfer to Ukraine. But, according to the country's defense minister, this will happen only after Copenhagen receives new American F-35 fighters.

In addition, after Germany’s refusal to send Taurus missiles to Kyiv, which could be launched from F-16 aircraft, the point of supplying these fighters to Ukraine is lost. It is possible that after today warnings Vladimir Putin about the inevitable destruction of American aircraft if they enter service with the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Western allies will think about the advisability of transferring these aircraft to Ukraine.

Well, what difference does it make, they promised to hand over the fighters to the clown. The clown will now be Argentinean, not Ukrainian, that’s the whole difference. laughing

Price difference. One clown wanted a "freebie", another - unfastened 300 lyams (they don't lie on the road). That seems like a completely reasonable approach.

Ukraine will have to introduce tough sanctions against the Danish government. Let everyone see how Denmark, through its actions, greatly upset Ukraine.

There is no logic in transferring these planes to Ukraine. The West has accepted that a more effective means is to bombard them with armadas of UAVs, given the length of the border with Russia. A war against NATO with conventional weapons is meaningless. It was necessary from the very beginning to establish the relationship between arms supplies by NATO countries as a declaration of war on Russia. The matter will only end with the authorities surrendering Russia, or it will be forced (after complete depletion of industrial and human resources) to use nuclear weapons. The West will not stop on its own initiative. Russia for them is a solution to all resource problems for decades. And we will only be left with envy - the fate of the Indian reservations.
For now, we can still put before the West a choice between peace with Russia, or the Apocalypse for everyone.

It is much more profitable to sell aircraft intended for Ukraine to Argentina.
This is how much more you can earn by supplying spare parts for used aircraft!
Only business and nothing personal or political.
    What about in Ukraine?
Either they will shoot you down in a day or two, or the Russians will hit the airfield if the planes are based in Poland or Romania.

Tell me, who knows: well, they sold these planes. They also need to be serviced and maintained in good condition, and this is also a lot of money. Who should do this? Seller or manufacturer of equipment?
