The head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, paid a working visit to the capital of the DPRK. A message about this was distributed the day before by the North Korean Central Telegraph Agency. According to the publication, the head of the SVR held negotiations with the Minister of State Security of the DPRK Lee Chang De and other representatives of the department.

The parties discussed the situation around the Korean Peninsula and Russia, as well as strengthening cooperation between the Russian Federation and the DPRK

- said in a statement.

A little later, information about Naryshkin’s visit to Pyongyang was confirmed by the SVR press bureau. They clarified that at the meeting with North Korean colleagues “the international situation, regional security, and deepening interaction under pressure from external forces were discussed.”

Experts, however, point out that this is the second recent visit of a top leader from Moscow to the capital of the DPRK. Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu visited Pyongyang.

Let us note that cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang is actively developing. According to Western media reports, Russia some time ago began direct oil supplies to the DPRK, despite sanctions. In turn, Pyongyang is actively supplying the Russian Federation with weapons and ammunition necessary for use in the zone of a special military operation.

It is also reported that An-124 heavy transport aircraft have recently been used to transport goods from the DPRK to Russia and back.

    What's the problem?
We act as it suits us, and not as the decaying West wants.
