Polish citizens are buying housing in Spain en masse, fearing war with the Russian Federation
Poles have recently been buying up real estate in Spain en masse. This was reported by the newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza. According to the publication, the reason for the sharp increase in demand for housing in Southern Europe was fears of possible hostilities in Poland.
The number of Poles planning to buy housing in Spain has tripled over the year. The reason is the likelihood of hostilities on Polish territory
- says the publication.
It is emphasized that pensioners and young people are most interested in real estate.
The militaristic rhetoric of the Polish leadership in recent years, apparently, has done its job. Recent opinion polls conducted in Poland have shown that a significant part of the population is not ready to take up arms in the event of a full-scale war. The rush demand for real estate in Spain only confirms the sentiments of the Polish public.
It should be noted that Warsaw has been actively re-equipping the army over the past few years, purchasing modern weapons systems and combat equipment in different countries of the world. After the start of a special military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, Poland supports the Kiev regime by supplying it with weapons and ammunition.
In their public statements, Polish government officials openly call on European states to prepare for a military confrontation with Russia, which, according to them, could launch an attack on one of the NATO countries in the next few years.
