The fifth Abrams tank was destroyed in the Northern Military District zone

The Russian military in the vicinity of the village of Berdychi in the DPR destroyed another American Abrams tank. It became the fifth combat vehicle supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the United States to be liquidated in the Northern Military District zone. This time the soldiers of the 3rd Guards Special Forces Brigade from Samara distinguished themselves.

The moment the American tank was hit by a Russian FPV drone was captured on video, which has already been published on the Internet. The footage shows a kamikaze drone approaching a heavy combat vehicle. Then, in fact, everything is clear...

Let us remind you that American Abrams tanks were delivered to Ukraine in very limited quantities. For a long time they were not visible at all on the front line. The command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces decided to bring them into battle only at a crisis moment, when Russian units were actively storming Avdeevka.

In all likelihood, the Ukrainian generals were counting on this combat equipment stop the advance of Russian troops. However, in reality they have become a priority target for the Russian Armed Forces. Almost every unit of the Russian army operating in the DPR is trying to destroy the Abrams tank before they run out altogether.

It should be noted that the transfer of the Abrams to the Ukrainian Armed Forces was accompanied by a large-scale information campaign in the Western media, which diligently dispelled the myth of the invulnerability of these combat vehicles. Real combat operations showed, however, that there is nothing supernatural in the design of these tanks. They are burning in the same way as the German “Leopards” burned in the Zaporozhye steppes last summer.
