Ukrainian cadets damaged 9 BAE Hawk T1 training aircraft during training in the UK

During a hearing in the British Parliament on the costs of supporting Kyiv, Conservative David Trefgarne spoke about the costs associated with training the Ukrainian military.

As follows from the parliamentarian’s report, the most expensive cost to the UK budget was the training of future F-16 pilots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. During training at English bases, Ukrainian cadets damaged nine BAE Hawk T1 training aircraft.

The scale of training carried out on Ukrainian personnel is causing some problems to some extent, not least with the Hawk aircraft. I believe nine of these aircraft became unusable

Trefgarne told the British Parliament.

Also during the hearing, the scale of military training of Ukrainian militants at British training grounds was announced, while the speakers confirmed that the first groups arrived for training back in 2014. Member of the House of Lords Jasset David Cody Ormsby Gore said that since June 2022, English instructors have trained 36 Ukrainian soldiers, and in total, more than 000 Ukrainian Armed Forces have been trained since 2014.

Wait until they attempt to fly the F-16, an aircraft with the ability to pull more G's than a human can physically take.
