Zelensky was accused of failing to ensure the defense of Ukraine

Ukrainian defenses could be breached in the coming months, reports the British magazine Economist. According to the publication, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky will be to blame for this.

The Economist noted that the Ukrainian leader is to blame for the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are unable to provide defense in important sectors of the front. Former commander-in-chief Valery Zaluzhny asked to mobilize another 400 thousand soldiers, but Zelensky refused to sign a bill that would reduce the age of conscription to military service to 25 years, the publication recalls.

Zelensky was late with the construction of defensive fortifications. He announced the start of fortification work with the involvement of engineering troops only in November last year.
