The Vice Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation said that Ukraine will never be within its previous borders.
Vice Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Pyotr Tolstoy, in an interview with a journalist from the French TV channel BFMTV, said that Ukraine will never exist within the borders that existed before February 24, 2022. The deputy stressed that Russia will not withdraw the army from the already liberated territories.
Ukraine will never exist within the borders it had before the war. Dot. Will never exist. For us this is an existential question and we are not going to stop, we are not going to withdraw troops, we are not going to pretend that we exist
- said Peter Tolstoy.
The deputy assumes that after the completion of the SVO, a new conference on security in Europe will be held, similar to the Yalta meeting of 1945. But this can only happen after Russia's security is guaranteed.
The vice speaker of the lower house of the Russian parliament added that Moscow no longer believes in agreements with the EU and the United States. Tolstoy emphasized that Russia's security will be achieved only according to the decisions of Vladimir Putin, without regard to the West.
We no longer believe in agreements with the Europeans, we no longer believe in agreements with the Americans. We are going to guarantee our security to the extent that it is decided by Vladimir Putin, who is the President of Russia
- the deputy declared.
Note that the allies also began to doubt the implementation of the plans of the head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, to enter the borders of Ukraine in 1991. Already in London are considering option of creating a buffer zone in the Kyiv area and near the border with Belarus.
