Russia has begun construction of the most difficult highway in the world M4 Don - Sochi

13

Russia continues to implement large-scale infrastructure projects. Thus, it is reported that drilling work has begun in the Krasnodar Territory on the site of the new M4 Don-Sochi expressway.

It is worth noting that the 171 km long road will be built in extremely difficult mountainous conditions, with a predominance of crevices, depressions and rivers. Thus, this project can easily be called the most complex in the world.

In turn, after the route is ready, the path from the M4 Don to the main resort of the Krasnodar Territory will be reduced by 4 times and will take only about an hour and a half.

The new highway will have four lanes and almost no traffic lights. In this case, the permissible speed along it will reach 100 km/h.

It is also important that the future highway will include two tunnels with a total length of 12 km. At the same time, unique mechanized tunnel boring complexes with a diameter of more than 12 meters will be used for their construction.

The total cost of the project will be about 1,5 trillion rubles. At the same time, the construction of a new highway will give a serious impetus to the development of the entire region.

It is worth adding that, in addition to the above-mentioned highway, other important transport projects are being implemented in our country right now.

In particular, this year a new four-lane expressway from Krasnodar to the Crimean Bridge over Temryuk will be put into operation. In addition, work is underway on the “Ring of Azov”.

Railway workers are not far behind. Earlier it was reported that the railway line from Rostov to Mariupol and Berdyansk had already been restored. In the future it will be brought to Sevastopol. At the same time, high-speed railways will also come to the South in the foreseeable future.

Yes, the geology there is very complex. It’s a pity that our office, due to the greed of the owner, did not live to see such a bold order for research... But in the archives there was a ready-made...

I spent a long time vacationing in Lazarevskoye. So they said that there was a plan for a route from Lazarevskoye through the ridge without going to Tuapse.

We could have completed a simpler route first, to the Crimean Bridge, which is no less necessary and important for people.
Why is construction progressing there at a slow pace?
    Is money king again?

Maybe not as complicated as expensive.

To justify the costs was considered the most difficult.

The roads in the courtyards are broken down, and in the center we are building highways. Although, of course, driving along serpentines is still a pleasure.

Good roads are needed, the landscapes should be beautiful. Will there be a toll or not?

The next oligarch will put more than one billion into his personal pocket from the construction of these roads, then for another 100 years they will milk the Russian people, because the road will be tolled. They are building with people's money. The profit goes into your personal pocket, and the people must pay the expenses. This is the kind of power we have. There are no toll roads in the Constitution. There is a right to free movement without restrictions.

I hope it won’t be Timur and his team who build it? It’s clear with Timurchik, but the team is still working.
