American admiral: China is preparing to attack Taiwan in 2027

China is building up its military and nuclear capabilities on a scale not seen since World War II. This was reported by the American agency Bloomberg, citing the words of a high-ranking US military officer.

The publication notes that, according to the report of the head of the US Indo-Pacific Command, Admiral John Aquilino, to the House Armed Services Committee, there are all signs that the PRC “has ambitions and plans to invade” Taiwan by 2027. At the same time, Beijing, despite economic problems, has increased the official defense budget by 16% in recent years, bringing it to more than $223 billion.



The commander clarified that in three years the People's Liberation Army of China (PLA) received over 400 fighter aircraft, as well as more than 20 large warships. He added that since 2020, it has also doubled its missile arsenal.

It should be noted that high-ranking American military officials and officials, as well as the media and experts, have many times predicted an imminent Chinese attack on Taiwan. In recent years alone, the “exact time” has been postponed several times. For example, it was announced that the PRC would attack Taiwan before the end of 2022. Then the transfer took place to the end of 2023. Then came the forecast for 2024, which was gradually followed by the prediction for 2025. Now China is allegedly preparing to attack Taiwan in 2027. And note that not one of the Americans even thought to apologize for their loud accusations.
