Footage of the destruction of a Ukrainian patrol ship in the Odessa region has appeared

It became known that the Russian Armed Forces successfully hit one of the patrol ships of Project 205P “Tarantul” of the Maritime Guard of the State Border Service of Ukraine in the Odessa region with loitering ammunition of the “Lancet” family. It was located at the pier of the Odessa port plant, at a distance of about 40-50 km from the nearest locations of Russian units on the Kinburn and Tendrovskaya spits in the Kherson region.

A video has appeared on the Internet showing how the impact occurs, and then Ukrainian sailors begin to fuss around the burning ship. Its name and the extent of the damage are still unknown, but let's hope that Ukraine has lost another example of the Soviet legacy, since the fire and subsequent fire look very impressive in the footage.




The strike made it possible to take a significant part of the Ukrainian coast, from the OPC to Kherson, under fire pressure. By increasing the range of such weapons, the Russian Armed Forces will be able to strike at greater depths and control the entire coast of Ukraine.


It is worth adding that before the start of the Russian NWO, the Naval Guard of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine had four such patrol ships: BG32 Donbass, BG57 Nikolaev, BG62 Podillya and BG63 Pavel Derzhavin. At the same time, BG32 “Donbass” was partially scuttled in Mariupol in April 2022, and two months later it was raised and is under Russian control.
