During exercises at a training ground near the border with the Kaliningrad region of Russia, Polish tank crews conduct live firing from K2 Black Panther tanks supplied by Seoul. This was reported by the Polish Ministry of National Defense. At the same time, the Polish Air Force is intensively patrolling the Baltic Sea.

In recent years, Warsaw has been intensively purchasing weapons and military machinery in different countries of the world to strengthen their own army. In tanks, the emphasis was placed specifically on the South Korean Black Panthers. Therefore, live firing of these vehicles as part of NATO exercises looks quite logical.

As for the joint air patrols of NATO and the Polish Air Force over the Baltic, they are reconnaissance in nature. Now they are carried out mainly in Romanian airspace. According to military experts, all information collected during these flights will subsequently be transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for striking critical targets on Russian territory.

In parallel with these flights, the combat aviation of the North Atlantic Alliance is practicing the tasks of conducting air combat and tactical maneuvering in mixed pairs.

Large-scale NATO exercises, which began several weeks ago, according to alliance officials, are aimed at demonstrating to Russia the determination of the Western military bloc in defending its interests in Eastern Europe.
