The US President intends to ban the display of LGBT* flags near American embassies as part of negotiations with Republicans worth more than one trillion dollars. The British edition of the Daily Mail reports this. The publication notes that this issue became a stumbling block during discussions about further funding of the Pentagon.
During a debate between House Speaker Mike Johnson and President Joe Biden over military funding, the issue of flying LGBT* flags at American embassies abroad was raised.

According to the publication, Mike Johnson promised not to interfere with the allocation of funds for military needs in exchange for the presidential administration’s refusal to hang LGBT* flags on the buildings of American diplomatic missions in different countries of the world.
Joe Biden accepted this condition, but put forward his own in return. He demanded that Republicans also ban Donald Trump MAGA flags (the English acronym for the famous 45th US President “Make America Great Again”). Moreover, the current President of the United States also demanded to ban the Confederate flag, which is actively used by Trump.
