The Lancet UAV deprived Ukrainian cadets of the opportunity to undergo flight practice on the L-39
Russian operators of Lancet kamikaze drones often conduct not only counter-battery combat, but also hit enemy aircraft on the ground. The next target for loitering ammunition was the L-39 combat training aircraft of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The board was located at the Kulbakino airfield in the Nikolaev region, but the significant distance from the line of combat contact did not prevent the Lancet from flying freely and hitting the target. The camouflage net did not save the plane from destruction.
Judging by the flash, the board was refueled and was regularly used by the enemy for training flight personnel. We also note the complete inaction of air defense in the area of a strategically important facility, since the reconnaissance UAV works without interference, recording the defeat of the target.
Kulbakino airfield regularly attracts the attention of Lancet UAV operators. We were here last September amazed two MiG-29 fighters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Also, missile strikes are regularly carried out on the airfield infrastructure.
Note that the experience of using drones against grounded aircraft is being adopted in other countries. Today, footage from North Africa appeared on the Internet, showing the defeat of a Sudanese Army C-130 Hercules heavy transport aircraft by the Rapid Reaction Force FPV drone.
Thus, cheap drones become a serious threat to expensive enemy aircraft standing on the airfield outside hangars and shelters.
