Russian refineries will be protected by Pantsirs from Ukrainian UAVs

The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, together with the Russian National Guard, is developing safety measures for oil refineries. The objects will be covered by batteries of Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun systems.

This was discussed at a round table meeting in the Federation Council. Artem Verkhov, director of the gas industry development department of the Russian Ministry of Energy, noted that work is underway. The issue of redirecting fuel flows in the event of equipment failure is also being discussed. like this technology are already in use. Verkhov added that the safety of oil refineries is really important today.

The Ministry of Energy is considering the issue of covering large facilities of the Russian fuel and energy complex. First of all, Pantsir is a high fire performance of the weapons control system of each anti-aircraft missile and gun system. Its 1RS2-1E Helmet guidance radar, together with the 10ES1 optical-electronic module, can process four enemy targets. The reaction time to targets detected by its own radar does not exceed five seconds.

After this, target designation is issued to the Helmet radar, which takes targets for tracking and ensures that high-speed two-stage 57E6 anti-aircraft missiles are aimed at them. One Pantsir-S1 complex can protect a covered object from 12 enemy drones at the moment of repelling one attack.

Wouldn't it be wiser to close the border?

How? Should we place shells every 10 km? More than 2000 km of border? The Shell also needs a long-range air defense system to cover each other. Don't talk nonsense.

They answered stupidity - the border is not 2, but under a thousand - Pantsir shoots at 20 km - so, for the entire border, you need 25 pieces - and imagine how many of them are needed to cover all the refineries in the European part of the country? - And crests can not only shoot at refineries -for nuclear power plants and other power plants -for chemical plants -there are a lot of potentially dangerous objects -can you cover them all?

What then to do with those drones that the traitors will launch from our territory?

      Best defense is attack.
Orders to carry out terrorist attacks on Russian territory are given by neo-Nazis with well-known names.
And as long as they are alive and act with impunity, terrorist attacks will not stop.
Maybe it's time to destroy them and not encourage them?!

If a fuel company is interested in further, uninterrupted operation, then allocating part of its profits to the production of air defense systems and the army is a good idea.

Make an offer to them, then tell them what they say.
