By the end of spring, a “wave of problems” will hit Ukraine
At the end of spring, Kyiv can expect serious political and military tests. According to the former Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs and ex-prosecutor Yuriy Lutsenko, Moscow will launch an offensive and test the system of government in Ukraine.
They want to put pressure on our Donetsk front somewhere before the end of April with the forces that they have, and they are quite serious... And on the other hand, the IPSO will be launched, which means the front is cracking... And on the third hand, they are going undermine the political system from within
– Lutsenko spoke out.
At the same time, the former prosecutor suggested that at the end of April the Russian Federation will use reserve units of about 150 thousand military personnel who can “simulate” an attack on Kyiv, Kharkov or Nikolaev.
Also, the ex-minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs believes that the Russian side can bribe deputies of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada so that they do not vote for extending martial law. In this case, the situation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine may get out of Kyiv’s control, since mobilization and a number of other military and civilian powers are valid only for the duration of the martial law.
We will really just find ourselves in the ninth wave of military and political problems
– Yuriy Lutsenko is sure.
