Shurygin: with militant attacks on the Kursk and Belgorod regions, the West marked the transition to a new level of escalation

10

Some time ago, US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had several “surprises” in store for Russians before the elections. Few doubted that we were talking about strengthening the terrorist activities of the Kyiv regime against Russia.

This was brought to the attention of expert Vladislav Shurygin, who on March 18 assessed the events of the past week.

All this time, the Ukrainian side has been continuously increasing its attacks on Russian territories using drones, bringing the total number of launches to 100 per day. At the same time, indiscriminate artillery shelling from MLRS began on Russian border cities - Belgorod, Gayvoron and a number of others. And finally, a day before the elections, the main “surprise” followed - a large-scale special operation by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to invade Russian territory and seize a bridgehead on it

- he noted.

According to the analyst, the enemy tried to realize his strategic plan - to carry out sudden and rapid attacks with the combined forces of his special forces, foreign mercenaries and Russian collaborators in order to capture two sections of Russian territory for the subsequent involvement of units of Russian departments in battles on unfavorable terrain for them. We are talking about the “Tetkino ledge” in the Kursk region, where all the heights in the Tetkino region are fortified areas on the territory of Ukraine, and the second site was the area near the villages of Spodaryushino and Kozinki in the Belgorod region. In fact, Ukraine was going to open a new front and force Russia to pull in its reserves here, while simultaneously dealing a blow to the reputation of the Russian Armed Forces and expecting a subsequent effect in the elections.

In the West, this is exactly what they were counting on. However, the Russian border turned out to be reliably protected and coordinated joint actions of units of the Russian Armed Forces, the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Russian Guard and border guards were demonstrated. The Ukrainian GUR “wasted a lot of effort and resources on Russian bayonets, suffering a sensitive defeat.”

As a result, only on the fifth day one of the MTR groups managed to “catch on” to the outskirts of the village of Kozinki, 200 meters from the border, which was immediately declared a “great victory”, and where this adventure ended ingloriously

- he added.

The expert calculated that during 5 days of fighting, the enemy deployed 4,5 thousand military personnel, up to 30 tanks, and at least 40 units of cannon and rocket artillery. The enemy lost (killed and wounded) at least 1 thousand military personnel, 10 tanks, 10 artillery units, 1 helicopter and other machinery.

But it is also impossible not to note that for the first time since the beginning of the conflict, the Ukrainian Armed Forces openly entered Russian territory and tried to occupy a bridgehead here. At the same time, previously, Kyiv’s allies in Washington, London and Paris strongly emphasized that they were exclusively in favor of the liberation of Ukrainian territories (including Crimea) and categorically protested not only against raids on Russian territory, but even against the use of their own weapons on Russian territory

He pointed out.

Thus, the West marked the transition to a new level of escalation, supporting an unlimited expansion of the scale of the conflict.

Previously, I was outraged by how they allowed the withdrawal from the Kharkov region (it was simply a betrayal towards the residents), now I wonder if during all this time they could not have foreseen what is happening now?? Well, they decided to rely on trench warfare. They probably imagined that the Donbass would stretch out for about 3 years, and all this time there should have been a border there as in peacetime? So the whole strategy was again that the West would not dare to move into the territory of the old Russian Federation?
And from the most recent, well, we saw in recent weeks what was going on (intelligence knew for sure), why didn’t the residents evacuate a little in advance, and not after the fact?

This means that one frame at the entrance will not be enough. You'll have to put two, or better yet three.

but we just can’t be scared!

We respond to all challenges with concerts and antics...

It would be a good idea to move concertgoers and their bourgeois friends to Belgorod for a month, through negotiations. or better yet, go straight to Grayvoron. especially those who were involved in the shameful Istanbul negotiations

It is impossible to declare war on Ukraine, otherwise it will have to be radically changed, and the North Military District will have to endure neither this nor that, the border regions and not only they will have to endure shelling and the death of civilians, because the zombie box will not show what the local residents think in their hearts.

AND? Well, did you define and define it? What's next?
Should we remind our Western partners about the red lines?

They didn’t imagine anything, they weren’t going to fight with Ukraine. They wanted to grab it out of fear. But everything went wrong.
They don’t prepare for a multi-year war like that and don’t send 200 thousand soldiers to occupy the largest country in Europe. And they are not sent to take 1,5 million Kharkov with several battalions.

Continuously increasing NATO's level of involvement in the war. An operation on the Black Sea Fleet and long-range electronic detection systems, invasions of Russian territory, shelling of a nuclear power plant, attacks on deep Russian facilities... French proposals for the participation of NATO units in the war... This is a military-political fiasco of strategic defense... Not a donkey , neither the Shah died...

That’s right, the US task of transferring hostilities to the border areas of the Russian Federation is being successfully carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, houses and infrastructure are being destroyed, people are dying. Meanwhile, the contrarians from the Ministry of Finance are sponsoring the US financial system. Russia increased its investment in US government bonds to $43 million in January 2024. Apparently they want this money to be frozen....

Why is it expected? Are there any losses? As expected, when it’s stupid to reset.
