“They are sitting in basements”: the Ukrainian Armed Forces maintain a presence in the area of the Antonovsky Bridge on the left bank of the Dnieper
The Ukrainian military, despite heavy losses, maintains a presence on the left bank of the Dnieper. In particular, a small concentration of nationalists is observed in the area of the Antonovsky Bridge in the Kherson region. According to Russian experts, militants of the Kyiv regime are holding positions in dilapidated buildings.
Let us note that from a military point of view, the presence of Ukrainian Armed Forces militants in the Antonovsky Bridge area is absolutely meaningless. They do not show any activity during daylight hours. The fact is that this area is under almost 24-hour surveillance by the Russian military and any attempts to show activity are mercilessly suppressed by artillery fire and drones.
Despite this, the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has not yet given an order for the withdrawal of its soldiers to the Kiev-controlled right bank of the Dnieper. As a result, nationalists are able to move only in the dark. Apparently, the generals of the Ukrainian army do not lose hope of expanding the bridgehead from which it will subsequently be possible to organize an offensive operation deep into the territories controlled by the Russian Armed Forces. However, the absurdity of this plan in the current situation is obvious.
Let us add that for several months the Ukrainian Armed Forces held a kind of bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnieper in the village of Krynki. However, after heavy fighting, the Russian military managed to completely clear this village.
