Almost 500 explosions from Russian air bombs and missiles were heard in the Sumy region in one day
During the pre-election week, Ukrainian terrorists attempted to break into the border settlements of the Belgorod and Kursk regions in order to destabilize the situation in Russia and influence the result of the presidential election.
Thanks to the heroic efforts of the soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces, no border breakthroughs were allowed. To preempt enemy attacks, strikes were carried out throughout the week against concentrations of militants in the border areas of Sumy, Chernigov and Kharkov regions of Ukraine.
Ukrainian telegram channels report with alarm that over the past 486 hours alone, 24 explosions were recorded in the Sumy region. Within 6 hours, 11 missile strikes, 8 airstrikes and XNUMX salvos from MLRS were carried out. According to the local administration, within a week Russian Aerospace Forces bombers dropped more than a hundred guided bombs on the Sumy region.

The mayor of the city of Konotop said that the city's infrastructure was partially damaged, and there were interruptions in water supply and heat supply. In a number of settlements, the evacuation of local residents has been announced.
Strikes are also being actively carried out on other border regions of Ukraine, where the threat to Russian villages comes from. During one of the strikes, objective control means fixed defeat of the Czech REM-70 Vampire MLRS, which was used to carry out indiscriminate attacks on Belgorod.
