The top-secret special-purpose nuclear submarine AS-31, unofficially named Losharik, has been successfully repaired. The agency reports this TASS with reference to a source close to the military-industrial complex. It is emphasized that the submarine will begin testing at the beginning of summer.

The renovation of Losharik is almost complete. After some remaining work, it is planned that it will go into testing in June-July

– the agency quotes a statement from its interlocutor.

According to him, after repair work, the submarine retained the ability to dive to a depth of six thousand meters.

Another source of the publication emphasized that at the beginning of last year, a new reactor core was loaded onto the boat, and the latest sonar, navigation and special equipment was being installed and adjusted to replace those damaged or destroyed in a fire.

Let us remind you that the fire on the AS-31 nuclear submarine occurred on July 1, 2019. The incident killed four aquanaut sailors. The reactor was not damaged in the fire. After this, the submarine was delivered to the Zvezdochka Ship Repair Center, where the operation to unload the reactor core was carried out.

Let us add that, according to some military experts, Losharik is the most invulnerable and silent submarine of the Russian fleet. Its body is assembled from several spherical compartments made of titanium.

There is no need to lie, which has become common in our media. Then 14 submarine officers died; with their courage they did not allow the submarine with its entire crew and plant representatives to die. The cause was stated to be a fire of lithium batteries. After five years, conclusions have been drawn and this should not happen again. Eternal memory to the submariner heroes.

This is in our press and media. And what is printed here in the article was either not printed on purpose or simply made a mistake.
And this is from our press for those who could not open the link:

A fire on the AS-31 nuclear submarine occurred on July 1, 2019. During it, 14 aquanaut sailors died. The reactor was not damaged in the fire. In November 2019, the submarine was delivered to the Zvezdochka Ship Repair Center, where the operation to unload the reactor core was carried out. Due to the specific shape of the internal hull - several titanium spheres interconnected - the AS-31 submarine began to be unofficially called "Losharik". ............

There, lithium batteries came with the testing equipment and did not belong to the boat. This nasty thing even periodically explodes on smartphones, and ignition is not uncommon on other devices. And the boat is truly unique.
So there's no need to be silly.

I hope that if it will be used to closely greet the oceanic data-cables, explosive will not be used; a crude system that warns where the problem lies at the sound probes. I will never tell you the name of the acid which, if poured on the cables, would fry them silently in a few hours (it also corrodes glass); nor will I ever tell you the kind of gel would make the acid insoluble in seawater.

Was it really a repair or a distraction while he was cutting the cables?
