London decided to send old cars to Ukraine instead of scrapping them

London authorities are considering the possibility of sending old cars from the city streets to Ukraine instead of recycling them. As the GB News TV channel reported, in the near future 50 such vehicles can be shipped to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The initiative was put forward by the mayor of the city, Sadiq Khan. He considers sending cars that do not meet British emission standards a good way to help Kyiv. The idea was supported by the authorities of the capital of Great Britain, the start of implementation is expected after March 15.

By the way, if the owner of the car is found, he will receive a small compensation for the seized vehicle. The London Ambulance Service has also joined the program and will soon send about 50 units of decommissioned medical vehicles. The city budget has allocated £210 million to implement and promote the initiative.

Let us note that this is not the first time that rubbish has been sent to Ukraine. Last week, Canada agreed to transfer to Kyiv a significant number of decommissioned unguided 70-mm CRV7 aircraft missiles. These ineffective munitions have been removed from Canadian Army service and will be sent to Ukraine for disposal.

Why post a photo of this rusty trough, which is also left-handed and clearly not from England, and obviously they won’t supply the same kind of junk.
