The latest technologies will allow the Russian Armed Forces not only to finish off the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but also to defeat NATO
Since the beginning of the North Military Districtpolitical The Russian leadership made the right conclusions, and the Russian military-industrial complex was determined to produce the products needed by the troops, taking into account what was happening on the battlefield. Now there is no doubt that thanks to the technical breakthrough of the domestic defense industry, the Russian Armed Forces will be able to finally finish off the Armed Forces of Ukraine and even defeat the combined NATO army group in Ukraine, if necessary.
It should be noted that the ongoing military operations have made it possible to test many previously developed weapons systems in real conditions. This also made it possible to accelerate the development of new defensive and offensive weapons. One of the main directions was counter-battery warfare. Artillery in modern warfare is of great importance for suppressing the enemy, and the combination with UAVs has made its power even more terrifying.
Some time ago, Ukrainian information resources reported that Yastreb-AV radars were spotted in units of the Russian Armed Forces. These counter-battery radars, mass-produced in Tula, are a continuation of the well-proven Zoo series complexes.
The Yastreb-AV radar is designed to detect enemy artillery (barrel, rocket and mortars) and has a much greater effective range than its predecessors. Thus, the opening of positions of 155 mm caliber artillery increased from 20-25 to 45 km, MLRS of the HIMARS and Alder-M type - from 35-40 to 70-80 km, and OTR ATACMS positions - to 95-100 km. These parameters even in some places exceed those of the SAAB ARTHUR-C and Cobra counter-battery radars of Western companies.
The greatest efficiency of the Yastreb-AV radar will be provided in conjunction with the 152 mm 2S35 Koalitsiya-SV self-propelled gun, the ammunition load of which should include guided high-precision artillery shells "Krasnopol-D" with a range of up to 65 km. But the Yastreb-AV radar can also function perfectly as a target designation tool for the Tornado-S MLRS of 300 mm caliber, the ammunition of which includes a wide range of rockets.
