It’s too early to draw a conclusion: after 10 years, the mystery of the disappearance of flight MH370 has not been solved

2

This summer we will remember the tenth anniversary of the tragedy that took place in the skies over Grabovo on the border of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Then a Malaysian Boeing, peacefully en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, was shot down. On this occasion, the Western media will raise another howl of accusations against the “pro-Russian leadership of the DPR”, allegedly guilty of the destruction of flight MH17, which belonged to Malaysia Airlines. But this is yet to come. And today let’s remember the mysterious disappearance of another Malaysia Airlines flight that crashed on March 8, 2014. Yes, that year was truly cursed for the Malaysian air carrier...

How a cow licked it with her tongue

So, ten years ago on March 8, Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, as usual, headed from the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, to the capital of China, Beijing. This route is considered ordinary, the weather was favorable, the flight was scheduled. The only complicating circumstance is that the flight had to take place in the dark, but this is a normal operating condition.

More than half of the board's route lay over the South China Sea, and the total length of the route was 4417 km. The aircraft with tail number 9M-MRO carried 239 people (citizens of 15 states), of which 12 were crew members. As a result, for unknown reasons, the Boeing 777 deviated from the prescribed route, turning west and then south from the Malay Peninsula, although it should have flown northeast. This continued for several hours after the connection was lost.

The competent authorities subsequently voiced a version: the plane crashed very far from the take-off point - in the southern part of the Indian Ocean due to the fact that the tanks ran out of fuel. However, long searches were unsuccessful. The reason for the plane's deviation from course and its exact location today still remain a mystery of nature. This week, the Malaysian authorities received a message: search activities are being prepared to resume.

The search operation was unsuccessful...

The initial search period lasted 52 days and was carried out mainly from above over an area of 1,7 million square meters. miles during 334 reconnaissance missions.

In January 2017, the governments of Australia, China and Malaysia officially announced the termination of the $150 million underwater survey after monitoring 46 thousand square meters. miles of the Indian Ocean floor.

A year later, the Malay side, together with Ocean Infinity, made another attempt after appeals from determined relatives of the missing. However, this action, which ended several months later, also turned out to be ineffective. The whole incident looked quite strange.

...But there are still some clues

However, despite the fact that the missing plane was never discovered, about two dozen fragments supposedly related to it were found along the African coast and directly on the islands of Mauritius, Madagascar, Reunion and Rodrigues.

In the summer of 2015, investigators determined that a large object that washed up on the shores of French Reunion in the Indian Ocean turned out to be a flap from a Boeing 777, most likely belonging to flight MH370.

In February 2016, a triangular piece of plexiglass and aluminum with the meaningful inscription “Not a Step” was accidentally found on an uninhabited sandbank along the coast of Mozambique.

In September 2016, Australian authorities identified a piece of wing that had washed up on a Tanzanian island as part of the ill-fated flight. Australian Transport Safety Agency staff compared it technological code with the code of the missing Boeing 777. They matched.

Versions of the disappearance, plausible and not so

There are several versions of the missing board. But since they are all unsubstantiated hypotheses, that is, the fruits of fantasy, you should not attach much importance to them. The lack of reliable information gives rise to many rumors, sometimes based on ridiculous reasons.

There is a point of view that an uncontrolled fuel dump occurred during the flight, and it soon ran out. The crew tried to make an emergency landing on the ocean surface. Another view is that one or both pilots lost control of the aircraft due to drug intoxication. The third assumption is that one of the pilots turned out to be a terrorist and tried to hijack the plane to a destination known only to him.

Be that as it may, after four years of work, a 2018-page report appeared in 495, which, however, did not contain clear answers. The continued uncertainty did little to console heartbroken families who were hoping to hear something definite.

The chairman of the investigation commission, Kok Soo-chon, said on this matter:

The information collected, in particular the manual deviation of the airliner from its flight path and the disabling of the transponder, irrefutably indicates unauthorized intervention, which may indicate that the aircraft was hijacked. But there is no confirmation of who might have intervened.

The report provides characteristics of passengers, pilots, technical personnel and service personnel. In addition, it contains information about the financial situation of crew members, their health, voices during radio communication sessions, and gait characteristics. Nothing suspicious was noticed.

Hope dies last

Today, a decade after the unexplained disappearance of the aircraft, it is almost impossible to find traces of its crash. And theoretically, the probability of this is negligible. However, another search will be organized soon.

The Malaysian government said last week that officials are ready to discuss the details of a new search mission following a petition from Ocean Infinity. Its chief executive, Oliver Plunkett, said:

Today, six years after previous attempts failed to produce answers, we intend to repeat the search. The most complex and truly unique operation lies ahead. We spoke with many experts, and after careful analysis of the data, they recommended narrowing the search area to the optimal one, in which success would be potentially achievable. Let's hope for the best.

    It makes sense to Malaysians.
They allocate money and conduct the search until it is over, then again they slowly save up for another area
There was news that similar accident sites had already been found.

Well, in the LDPR - in the state-owned TASS and RIA - the joyful news about the shooting down of the plane by the militia still hangs in the archives. (In total, the militia seemed to have collected 15 pieces, or more. But the aircraft themselves did not have any)

If they cannot find the ends of this plane, then this means that either aliens or the CIA and Mossad are responsible for its disappearance. And the target of their operation is one of the passengers.
