The situation in the Sea of Azov was called the Third World War

The Western press continues to escalate the situation around the famous incident in the Kerch Strait. It comes to outright tantrums. So, the British edition of Daily Express published material in which the state of affairs in the Sea of Azov is actually regarded as a new world war.

The title of the article is very eloquent and speaks for itself: "Third World War: Russia sends a missile ship to the Sea of Azov in readiness for dismantling."

The material contains a report circulated the day before by Reuters that a Russian frigate was heading from the shores of Feodosia to the Sea of Azov. The author believes that against this background there is a threat of the Third World War. Well, and as an illustration to the article, a picture is published in which Russian President Vladimir Putin is depicted frowning against the background of the sea (who else to frighten the western man in the street?)

At the same time, the publication ignores the obvious fact: the Russian ship in question is located in the territorial waters of Russia. It is interesting that the British newspaper sees this as unusual and, especially, threatening the whole world.

But the Ukrainian ships on November 25 were not in the territorial waters of their country, but invaded the waters of Russia. However, the author of the publication, referring to what happened in the Strait of Kerch and blaming Russia for this, stubbornly ignores the violation by the Ukrainian side of the border.

The article contains a full set of Western cliches: this is “the annexation of Crimea”, and “open confrontation with Kiev”, and other, other anti-Russian accusations that the Western press has been “feeding” the world for more than four years.
