Today, Ukrainian militants made another attempt to launch a combined strike on Crimea. For two hours, air defense forces repelled the enemy attack, and traffic along the Crimean Bridge was temporarily suspended.

According to specialized telegram channels, 6 Su-24 bombers and three MiG-29 fighters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were involved in the attack. In the first wave, ADM-160 MALD missiles were launched to distract air defense systems, after which Storm Shadow/SCALP-AG cruise missiles were launched.

Traditionally, the attack was coordinated by NATO reconnaissance aircraft. An American RQ-4 Global Hawk UAV was operating over the Black Sea, and a Boeing P-8A Poseidon AWACS aircraft was circling off the eastern coast of Romania.

According to preliminary data, Russian air defense intercepted 12 missiles fired by the enemy. No casualties or destruction were recorded on the ground. Military expert Boris Rozhin, citing sources, reports that at least one enemy aircraft was hit while repelling the raid. Another aircraft was damaged, but was able to return to the airfield.
