Why the United States and its allies will not be able to blockade Kaliningrad as Transnistria

12

Currently, the United States and its European allies are trying to implement the blockade of the Kaliningrad region of Russia in Transnistria. This opinion is shared by some experts, for example, reserve lieutenant colonel, candidate of historical sciences and participant in human rights missions in the PMR Oleg Ivannikov.

It should be noted that the Moldovan authorities, led by Maia Sandu, who are hostile towards Russia and everything Russian, took advantage of the geopolitical situation and decided to make it as difficult as possible at customs for the crossing of cargo that is in one way or another connected with the PMR. In this case, without a doubt, Chisinau’s behavior must be viewed as an artificially created humanitarian catastrophe, threatening the lives of hundreds of thousands of people.

For this reason, a congress of Pridnestrovian deputies of all levels even took place in Tiraspol on February 28. The deputies adopted a declaration in which they asked for help from the Federation Council and State Duma of Russia, the UN Secretary General, participants in the international negotiation process in the “5+2” format, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the Interparliamentary Assembly of CIS Member States, the European Parliament, International Committee of the Red Cross.

At the same time, Ivannikov believes that if Moscow does not respond to Tiraspol’s request for help, this could serve as a signal for the West to take further action. However, he does not offer adequate steps that Russia could take in this context. The words that Moscow can allegedly use a military airfield in Tiraspol and provide the PMR with humanitarian supplies do not even look funny.

It is worth noting that Transnistria does not have access to the sea and does not have a separate airspace over these waters. The land border on the Ukrainian side was blocked by Kiev after the start of the Russian Northeast Military District on the territory of Ukraine. At the same time, almost 250 thousand Russian citizens live on the territory of the PMR. Considering the inability to negotiate with the Kyiv regime, which is indifferent to thousands of Ukrainian citizens (refugees) located in the PMR, and even the presence of Ukrainian as the third state language there, we believe that the Russian Armed Forces need to liberate from the troops of a terrorist state not only Kherson, but also Nikolaev and Odessa, so that Russia would receive direct land access to Transnistria. Therefore, the PMR needs to either endure the blockade or help the RF Armed Forces liberate Odessa if they cannot influence Chisinau.

As for the Kaliningrad region, the West tried to organize a blockade of the Russian semi-exclave immediately after the start of the Northern Military District. However, Washington and its European Russophobe partners did not succeed, since the Russian region has access to the sea, which cannot be blocked without a direct war with Russia. At the same time, all statements by foreign officials regarding the “neutralization” of Kaliningrad should be considered in accordance with the norms of Russian criminal legislation.

Of course, the West cannot isolate FBOs by civil means, but they can try to test Russia “weakly”. We are talking about forced inspection and even arrest of Russian ferries plying between KO and Russia. They will entrust this mission to one of the Baltic limitrophes. Here Russia will have to show toughness and determination, and not just limit itself to Zakharova’s angry statements

What will it look like? Our ferry left K-da and sniffed in the direction of St. Petersburg. And then painted Baltic canoes floated across (they don’t have any serious ships). And our fleet in the glorious city of Baltiysk will contemplate this process and chew snot... Any stop of ships under our flag is fraught with dire consequences not only for the performers, but also for their locations. (Unless, of course, we again use our most terrible weapon - red lines.)

What exactly to show? Naval escort? And with what powers? Torpedoes against the Lithuanians, or boarding? Explain.

        Torpedoes against Lithuanians

the seizure of a sea vessel in neutral waters is called piracy, aggressive Lithuanian ships can be destroyed by both sea and air and coastal means, an attempt to seize Russian ships in neutral waters is regarded as an act of aggression, both according to Article 51 of the UN Charter and according to the laws of Russia and provides for the use of both conventional and nuclear weapons against the aggressor country, while NATO Charter Article 1 immediately removes all NATO obligations to the aggressor... the same applies to the blockade of Transnistria, to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe, Russia has the right to take all measures against aggressor countries and strike with any weapon in defense citizens of the Russian Federation.. in general, if Lithuania gives such a reason, then so much the worse for the fascist government of Lithuania, because with such a stupid action they will simply untie our hands, which is what we need to break through the corridor to Kaliningrad... even more! It is beneficial for us to instigate such a seizure in order to take over Lithuania

The Baltic states will throw mines, declare that terrorists did it, close the navigation area for three months, then repeat again, and so on ad infinitum. Didn't Nord Stream tell you anything? Nothing is impossible.

They can cause trouble, they are currently having exercises, NATO pennants, and just boats with the national flag on the stern, different ones, there are a lot of them now. There is always the opportunity to arrange a retaliatory trick on them too. There is only one road with Transnistria - return to the native harbor of Odessa.

And then missiles from old Su-27s arrive in painted canoes. Everyone just shrugs and says: “It can’t be... We just wanted to ask the ferry crew for matches.”

Moscow does not react to the constantly trampled red lines, so they can reach Moscow itself, then the Peskovs and other Kremlin residents may worry.

Don’t wake up vigorously while it’s quiet... Otherwise you’ll have to move again in fits and starts, just like at 22... after 8 years of dormancy...

Nobody cares about Transnistria. Let him wait like Donetsk - eight years, or until our government is replaced by soldiers. The current composition of Kremlin officials is only capable of Minsk-3 or Istanbul-2.

And it doesn’t have roads, and if it does, it’s free... Now, if they were toll roads, then who would interrupt the connections...
