Thus, we can talk about a “domino effect” after the enemy units left Avdeevka, since in just 11 days Russian fighters have already liberated several villages, and the dynamics continue. This is due to the active work of artillery and aviation: from the ground it is reported that the entire available range of ammunition is flying at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In addition, the command of the Ukrainian army did not take care of preparing the defense lines to the west of Avdiivka. Assurances from the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine about withdrawing to “advantageous prepared positions” turned out to be an outright lie. Military expert Boris Rozhin notes that, with a high degree of probability, the funds allocated for the construction of fortifications were stolen, and therefore the Ukrainian army will have to retreat further to the west, using the terrain and natural water barriers as lines of defense.
