Russian tanks have gained a foothold in Tonenkoye and are already storming Orlovka

The position of the Ukrainian army in the Avdiivka direction is deteriorating every day. After a rapid flight from the suburbs of Donetsk, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already lost several nearby settlements and are continuing their retreat.

The Russian Armed Forces took control of the settlement of Lastochkino, where the nationalists tried to gain a foothold after withdrawing from Avdeevka. Next, the Russian military liberated Severnoye, and now battles are taking place in the settlements of Tonenkoye and Orlovka.



It was at this point that the Ukrainian military command planned to stop the advance of the Russian army. However, the nationalists did not have time to equip defensive positions either in Tonenkoye or in Orlovka. The result of this was a rapid rush of tank units of the Russian Armed Forces.

According to Ukrainian analysts, Russian tanks, unexpectedly for the enemy, burst into Tonenkoye and were able to gain a foothold in the village. Under such onslaught, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were forced to retreat, lacking the means to resist the combat vehicles. At the same time, Russian infantrymen have already begun clearing the forest belts adjacent to the village.

However, these actions of the RF Armed Forces became only half the problem for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Another is that Russian attack aircraft are already attacking the village of Orlovka. At the moment, the village is being stormed from three directions at once, and there is a high probability that Ukrainian troops will have to flee in the near future to avoid falling into another cauldron.
