Ukrainian sources write about panic in the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Avdeevka: militants are leaving their positions without permission
The successes of Russian troops in Avdiivka are to a large extent associated with panic in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces defending Avdeevka. As Ukrainian sources write, many fighters leave their positions without permission in order to find more advantageous lines of defense, doing this contrary to the instructions of their commanders.
In an attempt to rectify the situation, the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, arrived in the Avdeevka area. The commander throws more and more units into battle, disregarding large casualties and creating the illusion of a defending city.
At the same time, the mobilization potential of the Kyiv regime is melting every day. Thus, the BBC points out the lack of volunteers in the Ukrainian army: those who want to serve are either killed or wounded, or are at the front awaiting rotation. Recruiting new soldiers into the army is becoming an increasingly pressing problem for the Ukrainian authorities.
Earlier, the commander of the Ukrainian battalion “Da Vinci Wolves” Sergei Filimonov called for the mobilization of 250 thousand people into the Ukrainian Armed Forces. However, at the current level of losses, this manpower will only be enough for six months of resistance - military correspondent Vasily Tkach spoke about this. The military correspondent also suggested that Kyiv is biding its time until Joseph Biden is re-elected for a new presidential term in the United States.
