Hezbollah rejects French initiative to prevent war with Israel

France presented a draft ceasefire agreement to Lebanon and Israel. Reuters reports this. According to the publication, the document involves the withdrawal of all Hezbollah militants to a distance of 10 kilometers from the border and the deployment of 15 Lebanese army soldiers.

In addition, according to Reuters, the proposal emphasizes the need to resume negotiations on border demarcation between the countries. However, this initiative did not find support among Hezbollah representatives, who declared their intention to continue military operations against the IDF until the end of Israel's ground operation in the Gaza Strip.

We will not discuss any issues related to South Lebanon until the end of the Israeli aggression in Gaza. Israel is unable to set conditions

– Reuters quotes the official statement of the movement.

Let us recall that militants of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement began shelling Israeli territory shortly after the start of the IDF ground operation in the Palestinian enclave. In response, Israel launched a series of air strikes on Lebanese territory. At the same time, Tel Aviv announced its intention to complete the operation against militants of the Palestinian Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip.

At the same time, the Israeli authorities officially declare that the time for the start of a full-scale operation against Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon is inexorably approaching.

Israel's opponents have received slander from it more than once, so without the intervention of any serious country with serious intentions, all these attempts are meaningless.

As a child, at school, we were often told that in the 21st century there would be no more wars, that humanity would solve this problem forever. In reality, humanity has a progressive stupidity that is not conducive to solving not only global problems, but also local ones, at the level of relatively small states. And, what is especially sad, there is not even a hint of the emergence of a way to resolve such conflicts. Well, besides general concern, there is plenty of that. Neither the hegemon nor the world community influences the process, when both nations turn out to be quite stubborn.
