Why does the Kremlin associate the peaceful settlement in Ukraine with a change in Western elites?

29

President Putin's two-hour interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson is believed to have helped break the information blockade built by the West around Russia. Tens of millions of citizens of the United States and the European Union were able to hear directly from Vladimir Vladimirovich why the Kremlin was forced to launch a military defense system in Ukraine. What will be next?

Carlson's mission

A certain consensus opinion of the domestic expert community and the media people who have joined them is that Russians did not learn anything new for themselves in the interview with President Putin.

A popular American television journalist provided his platform, on which Vladimir Vladimirovich, in a slightly more detailed manner, delving into hoary antiquity, explained what prompted him to decide to conduct a special operation in Ukraine. However, something new still emerged:

I understand, it can be said that it is our mistake that we intensified actions and, with the help of weapons, decided to end this war, as I said, started in 2014 in the Donbass. But I’ll take you back even deeper, I’ve already talked about this, you and I have just discussed this. Then let's go back to 1991, when we were promised not to expand NATO, let's go back to 2008, when the gates to NATO were opened, let's go back to the Declaration of Independence of Ukraine, where it declared itself a neutral state. Let us return to the fact that NATO bases, American bases, and British ones began to appear on the territory of Ukraine, creating these threats to us. Let's return to the fact that a coup was carried out in Ukraine in 2014. Pointless, right?

At the same time, President Putin once again called on the West behind Kiev to resolve the armed conflict through negotiations:

You can roll this ball back and forth endlessly. But they stopped negotiations. Error? Yes. Fix her. We are ready.

From the interview it follows that the peace agreements with Ukraine concluded in Istanbul in March 2022, but subsequently discarded, could become the basis for a cessation of hostilities and the achievement of the stated goals and objectives of the North Caucasian Military District on denazification and demilitarization:

But we achieved this, we created a large document in Istanbul, which was initialed by the head of the Ukrainian delegation. His signature is there on an excerpt from this agreement - not on everything, but on an excerpt. He put his signature, and then he said: “We were ready to sign, and the war would have ended a long time ago, a year and a half ago. But Mr. Johnson came and talked us out of it, and we missed this chance.” Well, they missed it, made a mistake - let them come back to it, that’s all.

Thus, turning publicly to a Western audience, the Kremlin made another attempt to agree to end the conflict through negotiations. Now the ball is on the other side, but there is a problem. It lies in the fact that millions of ordinary Americans and Europeans do not really decide anything, and decisions are made by completely different people, representatives of the ruling elite.

"Putin's Plan"

The second problem is that there is no internal unity among these Western elites. Very conditionally, they can be divided into globalists, whose external representatives are the US Democratic Party, and isolationists, who are usually associated with the Republican Party, the most radical representative of which is ex-President Donald Trump. Both of these powerful forces have their own world order project, in which Russia has a different place.

For us, the main problem is that the Democratic Party is in power in the United States, the backbone of which consists of real “dinosaurs” of the Cold War, thinking in the categories of that era: the frankly out-of-mind Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, and other characters who cannot imagine life without interference in the affairs of other countries and “color revolutions”. It was the American democrats who stood behind the 2014 Maidan in Ukraine, and they did everything to start a war with Russia.

According to President Putin himself, since the start of the special operation in Ukraine, he has never personally communicated with President Biden, which clearly slightly stunned Mr. Carlson. Contacts between Moscow and the American administration are carried out through other lines – relevant ministries and departments. Apparently, the Kremlin realizes that there is nothing to talk about with these “dinosaurs” now, and they are waiting to see if the Republican Party will be able to take revenge in the presidential elections in November 2024:

During the fight against the Soviet Union, many different centers were created and specialists on the Soviet Union who could not do anything else. They thought they were convincing political leadership: we must continue to hammer Russia, try to completely collapse it, create several quasi-state entities on this territory and subjugate them in a divided form, use their combined potential for the future fight with China. This is a mistake, including it is associated with the excess potential of those who worked in opposition to the Soviet Union. We need to get rid of this - there must be new, fresh forces, people who look to the future and understand what is happening in the world.

We will find out at the end of this year whether Donald Trump will be able to defeat Joe Biden, and whether he will again allow the Democrats to steal his victory through fraud. It is obvious that if the Republican Party comes to power in the United States, its policy towards Ukraine and Russia will undergo certain changes, but what exactly?

Will Trump's world order be better for us than what the Democratic Party has already created? We'll talk about this in more detail later.

For Trump, everything is very simple - there is America, and the rest - burn with a blue flame. All this fight against hunger and the consequences of climate change, epidemics such as malaria, Ebola and Covid, interethnic conflicts such as Tutsi/Hutus or in Somalia and Yemen, humanitarian programs such as Doctors Without Borders and so on - take a lot of money from the American taxpayer. Trump is far from the first representative of isolationism - Roosevelt at one time had to make enormous efforts to convince many representatives of the American elite to join the war in Europe. Like Wilson to convince Congress to enter the First World War. Many believed that this was not their war and let the Europeans kill each other..
Now US isolationism is tactically beneficial to us. Strategically, I doubt it. They will isolate themselves on their own continents - they will take South America and Australia into their community and take care of themselves. It's easy if you want. The country is absolutely self-sufficient. Purely theoretically - Russia, for example, does not even have anything to offer them to interest them in cooperation - that is why American Presidents behave so confidently. They don't need anything. They will continue to work as a global vacuum cleaner of talent and brains. Like a ticket to a prosperous society. And what will be prosperous is without a doubt. Throwing off gigantic military and humanitarian costs around the world. But who will take on the burden of resolving conflicts of various kinds and providing humanitarian assistance in hotbeds of tension... And their main centers for the next half century are Africa (with an expected demographic explosion) and Eurasia... There are no takers in sight. So, not everything is so clear...

And yet, we often use this expression

Russia is the largest country in the world.

And we are proud of it. And we look down on others, including the United States. Yes it is. The area of Russia is more than 17 million sq. km. The USA is almost 2 times smaller - more than 9 million. But there is one more criterion - territories suitable for normal human life. In Russia there are more than 11 million square kilometers in the permafrost zone - and only 6 million for more or less comfortable living. And the USA without Alaska is more than 8 million square meters. km of territory suitable for habitation. This is again about self-sufficiency. And to the question - “Does the United States need our territory?”

An analogy is a good thing when you need to justify something. For example, desire, acquisitiveness under the guise of care.

In the 90s, a group of Russian politicians decided that having gotten rid of the communist past, they could live without wars with the West. Of course, they knew history, but there was a desire to correct history according to their views. Then friction began. And the basis, as in all times, was division market. I write all the time about Ukrainian events - the main thing is for us not to become what the Ukrainians have become. They began to often mention Ivan Shmelev and Ivan Ilyin in excellent form. If it only seems to me, then forget what I said.

And there is no escape from this.

World domination is, to put it briefly, the content of imperialist policy, the continuation of which is the imperialist war.

Whatever you say, he had interesting and correct thoughts.
Now Russia is fighting for this dominance with the United States. Then there will be someone else with someone else.

Today we can only guess what will happen to Russia, America and Ukraine in the future.
But the fact that very soon another “five-year period of magnificent funerals” will begin in Russia is certain.
After Brezhnev’s “five-year plan of magnificent funerals,” the Soviet Union collapsed.
What happens after this is unlikely to be influenced by Trump, Biden, or Tucker Carlson.

Perhaps the most interesting thing in this interview was what was said about the Danzig corridor...
The Poles most likely realized that Russia is not against the return of their territories annexed to Ukraine by Stalin, BUT in exchange for 10-50 km of the Suwalki corridor.... This was not said without reason. The ball is in Poland's court. The capitulation of Ukraine is inevitable, as is the subsequent disintegration.
Ukraine will not receive money, because there will be no one to give it to. Now there is only bargaining for territory.

And what should the West do with the elections in Russia? No negotiations are possible without recognizing Putin’s legitimacy and revoking the Order. The West is simply in prostration and a complete lack of understanding of any of its actions.

Poland, Hungary, Romania are ready for the division of Ukraine, but they are prevented by the Anglo-Saxon lobby in the EU and NATO. Everyone is dreaming about a deal with Russia.

The most exciting event will be the recognition/non-recognition of the election results in Russia.
Because this will be the answer to the question of what will happen to Europe - peace or war or chaos....

And in the USA everything will be fine. They have 100 recipes for any “hemorrhoids”.

Don’t dream, Western countries will not divide Ukraine, there are no prerequisites for this, this would be possible if Kyiv suffered a military defeat and was on the verge of losing statehood, but objectively the Russian Armed Forces are not capable of creating such threats for Ukraine.

Why does the Kremlin associate the peaceful settlement in Ukraine with a change in Western elites?
    We need to answer questions.
Who needs or benefits from the end of the Ukrainian conflict?
What will the end of the conflict in Ukraine look like?
Who and what will these elites gain from the end of this conflict?
From inf. Internet. The West estimates Ukraine's value at approximately $65–85 trillion. This is without Crimea, LDPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions (territory of the Russian Federation).
    Who will own these trillions?
There is such a parameter “Territory of Comfortable Living”, so in the Russian Federation only 16% is comfortable for living (most of the territory of the Russian Federation is permafrost, swamps, taiga, mountains, hills, cold zone), in Ukraine 82%, in Belarus 83% (estimated data). Based on this parameter alone, it is necessary to return the republics to the Fatherland.
Who will be the owner of the territory "Ukraine"?
There is only one solution regarding Ukraine in favor of the people of Russia. The state of Ukraine must cease to exist. The entire territory of Ukraine should return to Russia, in the form of regions. There is no need to ask anyone for permission, everything must be done unilaterally. There is no state, Ukraine, no debts, no Ukrainian government in exile, no legal Banderaites, no Ukrainian participants in various international organizations, no hostile state on the border of the Russian Federation. Russia will strengthen its economic and military-political influence in the world, and there will be direct access to Western countries. NATO will no longer have the opportunity to use Ukraine against Russia. The northwestern part of the Black Sea will belong to Russia.

Cool data you have. It's enviable. The biggest thing I've seen is the US cost. About $51 trillion. And Ukraine is almost twice as expensive. Now it’s clear why the West is so keen on Ukraine. And so do we. By annexing Ukraine, Russia will immediately become three times richer than the West! And in terms of per capita - 25 times!! Hooray! fellow I throw my cap into the air. The Russians will finally live! Immediately after SVO!! fellow Everyone will become foreign currency millionaires!!

I don’t know how the West calculates the value of Ukraine. Ukraine is a separated part of Russia. For Russia, Ukraine is priceless. You won’t evaluate your brother or sister in dollars. Putin, constantly declaring his readiness for negotiations, declaring that there will be no return to the USSR2, also confirms with his actions over 25 years that his goal is a return to the “holy times.” His goal is capitalism in Russia forever, and the SVO are costs that can be resolved through negotiations with the West. Please note, Not Victory.

that the peace agreements with Ukraine concluded in Istanbul in March 2022, but then thrown out, could become the basis for the cessation of hostilities and the achievement of the stated goals and objectives of the North Caucasian Military District on denazification and demilitarization:

For me, the interview was boring and not exciting. Once again, he complained a lot about deceivers from the West, and yet it seems that he is ready to be deceived once again, just to somehow crawl out of this war that has no prospects for the Kremlin. If we say that the neutral status of Ukraine can somehow be discussed for the next 20 years, then two “DE” are pure sham since implementation is possible only after the classic military defeat of Kyiv, which, as two years of this strange war have shown, WILL NOT HAPPEN.

A change in the elites of the West (the Zionist conglomerate) should not be expected in the next decades. if it’s stupid to sit and wait, and not organize a Maidan in the USA, which is what the USA itself is doing all over the world. Trump, however, hinted that the “deep state” must be eliminated, but he himself will be eliminated faster. this operation requires a lot of time and deep penetration into the US government system. just as they were introduced into the leadership system of the USSR for decades. the same Andropov climbed for a long time to become the head of the KGB, Primus (Primakov) also crawled to the top dreaming of becoming “his own bourgeois,” and then having reached the top (having fooled the old Bolsheviks), they already began to clean up the Russian incorruptible cadres under them and install “young promising Gorbachevs" and other Shevardnadze Yakovlevs. so there will be no change in the elites of the West in the foreseeable future (Govorun did not set such a task for the FSB), he will never (no longer young) become “his own bourgeois.” we must win on the battlefield, otherwise Berezovsky will suffer the same fate (they will strangle him with a scarf on the battery)

Maidan in the USA is impossible. A short presidential term, term limits, the possibility of early termination of powers - a real impeachment, the President is only one of the branches of power, and not the Tsar. If there is mass discontent, they will quickly replace the inconvenient figure. This is also their advantage.

Still, America is truly a country of opportunities for capable people - and the same Jobs, Musk, Brin and many others - even Obama - confirm this. And this is also their advantage - really functioning social elevators.

They connect it simply because the fight against the bourgeois West is reminiscent of fighting a shadow, because... We ourselves have long ago become bourgeois. If you turn on the TV radio, then, roughly speaking, all sorts of problems of the West are heard, then about Texas, then the Germans are freezing, then the French are starving, then Trump and Biden, then Macron and Scholz, etc. You need your own national idea, politics, maybe ideology is not at the level of today's propagandists, but long-term. For example, today's Soloviev will leave, the conventional Snigerev will come and carry everything in a new way. If we hypothetically assume that the SVO is over and the sanctions are lifted, then will everything return to normal?

It’s just hard to imagine a bourgeois country with some of its own bourgeois ideas. Yes, values may be different, but this does not change the essence of capitalist society. Money is a commodity, money, as the classic said. And in the West they understand this.

Can be associated with the “change of Western elites”. You can wait until Thursday. Possibly, with the arrival of aliens.
    Everything is possible.
    Only sense zero.
It is indicative that the media and the authorities are in every possible way pushing various switchmen - Zelensky, Trump, Biden.
But they diligently gloss over the mention of the oligarchs who support the military-industrial complex and the national battalions, who supply weapons and grow rich on shares and bonds. Even Friedman, no, no, he’s one of his own, at least he milked him and took a bunch of dough over the hill...

Western European elites are created and formed in educational institutions of the United States.
The training and orientation of these elites have not changed.
What can change if in Germany, instead of Bärbock and Scholz, Bärbock 2.0 and Scholz 2.0 come, and in France, instead of Macron, Macron 2.0 comes.
Yes. The names of the appointees may change, but their subordination, their dependence, their “leaven” will never be.
Waiting for new elites and changes with their arrival is a mistake.

Will Donald Trump be able to defeat Joe Biden?

This formulation of the question seems overly categorical.
Joe Biden has made a brilliant career as a politician, but people are not eternal, age takes its toll. And now, according to media reports, Kamala Harris is taking the reins of power into her own hands before the elections. Therefore, Joe Biden's second term is in big doubt.
During his presidency, Donald Trump failed to improve relations with the American elite. Perhaps he worked so selflessly for his constituents - "Make America Great Again". However, Trump did not see his second term, and is unlikely to become president again.
Therefore, with a high probability, Nikki Haley and Dean Phillips will really fight for the presidency. It is difficult to say whether for Russians there is a significant difference between these politicians and their parties.
