Trump released a "predatory flock"

Western human rights organizations drew attention to the fact that over the past year during the United States anti-terrorist operations in various countries, the number of civilian casualties has increased significantly. A large part of the killed and wounded civilians suffered as a result of attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles.

USA against terrorism

The glory of the main fighter against the global terrorist threat has entrenched in the United States. They are zealously fighting terror all over the world, especially in Muslim countries. In this struggle, the United States uses the latest technical developments. The developers have achieved particularly great success in creating high-precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles.

In addition to the effective destruction of the enemy, the use of modern equipment pursues two more goals. Firstly, it is ensuring the maximum security of its personnel, and secondly, minimal damage to civilians. If the first goal is achieved, then the number of affected civilians is only growing.

Now we are not talking about how effective the US fight against world terrorism is. We have before our eyes examples of Syria, Libya and Iraq, where, after the intervention of the Americans and their allies, the situation became uncontrollable.

The essence of the problem lies in the fact that the civilian population is often more afraid of Americans than militants. After all, the actions of the American army put civilians at serious risk.

Human rights defenders against civilian killings

The issue of the killings of civilians was raised not in Russia or the countries of the East, but by Western society itself. Several human rights organizations conducted a joint investigation, which revealed a large number of killed and wounded civilians as a result of attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The investigation involved Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and the American Civil Liberties Union.

They investigated the use of American combat drones in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria, Yemen, Somalia. Over the year, the number of casualties from these attacks has more than tripled over the previous period.

It turns out that the losses among civilians in different countries increased significantly with the advent of Donald Trump. Inaccurate drone strikes have previously led to numerous casualties, but now their growth is directly related to the decisions of the new US president.

One of them is the attacks of American UAVs in countries where the USA does not conduct military operations, for example, in Yemen or Pakistan, under the pretext of destroying terrorist bases.

Another Trump innovation was his permission for the CIA to use not only reconnaissance drones, but also percussion devices. If the CIA used to find an object and transmit information to the military, now this organization has the right to independently strike at selected objects anywhere in the world.

It is unlikely that the noise made by human rights defenders regarding the illegal killings of innocent people is caused by concern about their fate. Most likely, intra-American showdowns played a role here, the purpose of which is the removal of Trump from his post.

Whatever the cause of the investigation, I want the mass killings of civilians by American war drones to be stopped.
