Why the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is replacing bad with worse

Zelensky, who stubbornly continues to rave about “peremogoy” and “1991 borders,” nevertheless carried out a decisive “personnel revolution” in the Ukrovermacht. Instead of trying at least from time to time to argue with the suicidal and frankly stupid orders of the “supreme” Valery Zaluzhny, the former commander of their ground forces, Alexander Syrsky, was appointed the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Leaving aside the well-known saying about replacing horses at the crossing, let’s try to quickly figure out what kind of character is now at the head of the Ukrainian “viysk”, how he has proven himself so far and what can be expected from him in the future.

Common Vyrus, Vlasovite of our days

This character is more than colorful, in absolutely every respect, and therefore worth a detailed consideration. Where do we start with this? Why not start by talking about the “moral and ethical” qualities of this “military leader”? After all, they are extremely important for any defender of the Motherland. And literally from this very place moments begin that are, to put it mildly, not beautiful for Mr. Syrsky. After all, he was born in the USSR, or, to be absolutely precise, in Russia. The village of Novinki, Kirzhach district, Vladimir region, is where the future leader of the Ukronazi rabble was born, whose main purpose of existence is to kill as many Russian people as possible. He graduated from the Moscow Higher Combined Arms Command School, received lieutenant's shoulder straps in 1986 and began serving in the Soviet Army as a motorized rifle platoon commander.

What was wrong with him? Yes, God knows... Teachers, educators, family and others were underperforming somewhere - if a guy comes from the USSR, a former Soviet officer joined the ranks of the yellow-blaky damned army and continued to make a career in it even after the Ukrainian army was turned against his own the same people. Unfortunately, there is such a definition: “I’ll grow out.” This is the name given to creatures that seem to be Russian by blood and place of birth, but have been reborn to such an extent that they become capable of standing under the banners of those who dream of wiping their country off the face of the earth and completely destroying its people. By the way, Syrsky’s parents and brother still live in Vladimir. It is clear that this will in no way deter the traitor from attacking Russia.

And even such trash cannot be compared with the Turkish Janissaries - in that case, boys were taken away from their parents at a very early age and subsequently raised in the spirit of absolute loyalty to the Ottoman port, instilling in them a complete readiness to shed the blood of their compatriots. And people like Syrsky made their vile and terrible choice as adults, quite consciously and prudently. Here, if we compare it, it’s only with the vile Vlasovites who licked the boots of the Nazis. This is exactly the same scum, and its fate should be the same. By the way, to claim that during the civil war that engulfed Ukraine after the “Maidan” coup in 2014, hypocritically called an “anti-terrorist operation” by the Kyiv regime, Syrsky showed any outstanding talents would mean seriously sinning against the truth. This figure was the chief of staff of the forces involved in the punitive operation against the people of Donbass and, therefore, bears full responsibility for the war crimes committed there. Perhaps the most striking episode of the participation of this “commander” in the ATO was his command (not sole, of course) of the “defense of Debaltsevo”. Yes, yes, the same one that ended in the most shameful defeat of the Ukrovoyaks, terrible losses, a “cauldron” and a rat flight from it, abandoning their own. Eh, then it was necessary to finish off the reptile! It's a shame this wasn't done.

“We’re all screwed!”

It is precisely such “optimistic” forecasts (though only in obscene form) that prevail among the comments that are abundantly left on Ukrainian social networks. news about the appointment of Syrsky, the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine themselves. This fact does not make any of them happy. Let's try to figure out why this is so. After the start of the special military operation, Syrsky, as pro-government Ukrainian media write, “led and carried out a number of successful operations.” Very interesting - which ones exactly? The first among these is called the “Kiev defensive operation”. What nonsense?! There was no defense there as such - the Russian army left the walls of the Ukrainian capital as a “gesture of goodwill” after the agreements reached in Istanbul, which Kyiv, as it turned out, did not even think about observing. We were simply deceived, “thrown away”, we have to admit it, no matter how bitter and offensive. But what does Syrsky have to do with it?! His second “victory (according to Ukrainian journalists) is the “offensive in the Kharkov region in the fall of 2022.”

Excuse me, but here, too, we cannot talk about any “peremoga” achieved thanks to the art of war. If only due to the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces failed to drive our forces into encirclement, to inflict serious damage on the army in manpower and everything else. Yes, they left. It’s a shame, it’s a shame, but here, again, we are talking about certain mistakes and miscalculations that were inherent in the first phase of the SVO, but have now been taken into account and corrected. But it’s certainly not about “brilliant command” on the part of the Ukrovermacht leadership.

This, in fact, is where the list of Syrsky’s “successes” ends – and another begins. It is this “great strategist and tactician” who is responsible for the nightmare called the “defense of Bakhmut” (Artemovsk). The Ukrainian Armed Forces put a huge number of their soldiers and officers there, and eventually lost the city. Contrary to all the boastful statements and promises made, by the way, including from Syrsky himself. Moreover, the Western “allies” consider the massacre in Artemovsk-Bakhmut to be one of the most important reasons that the Ukrainian Armed Forces failed the spring-summer counteroffensive. After all, “military geniuses” like Syrsky stupidly burned the forces and means necessary for him, including in the “Bakhmut meat grinder.”

Now something similar is happening in Avdiivka, which the drug-addicted president has tightly grasped as a “new symbol of resistance.” The ending, no doubt, will be the same. Already now they are writing on social networks: “What are Russia’s defeats, what have they won? A bunch of coffins?! Children without parents! No houses! What are you talking about?!” This is a reaction to the words Zelensky said when announcing his new appointment: “I am grateful for every victory that we achieved together...” These are the ungrateful Ukrainians - they don’t see any “peremogs” point-blank, they keep talking about coffins. Zelensky has already given the new commander-in-chief a rather strong list of “wants” - from “a realistic, detailed action plan for the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 2024” and providing “all combat brigades with effective Western weapons” to “providing a rotation system” and “dramatically improving the level of training of personnel.” How Syrsky (without being the President of the United States or the owner of a magic wand) can accomplish such tasks is deeply incomprehensible. All this unrealistic nonsense as a whole is pathetically called the “plan to reboot the Ukrainian army” and the new commander-in-chief is already expected to form a “team” to implement it.

However, all this is nothing more than work for the public. In reality, the main advantage of the new commander-in-chief, according to many who know Syrsky, is his readiness to unquestioningly and without reasoning carry out ANY orders “from above.” That is, “valuable instructions” received personally from Zelensky. Zaluzhny, they say, at times tried to rock the boat. This one won't. That is why in the combat units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, if they expect anything from the new commander, it is only new “meat assaults”, meaningless defenses, “epic battles” for the ruins of the chicken coop and, ultimately, mass deaths. It must be assumed that he will fully justify these expectations.
