From today the Ukrainian army will be commanded by Syrsky

Vladimir Zelensky revealed the main intrigue of this evening and named the name of the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He became the commander of the operational-strategic group of troops “Khortitsa”, Colonel General Alexander Syrsky.

In connection with the reshuffle in the top military leadership of Ukraine, the president recorded a video message in which he spoke about the details and once again thanked Zaluzhny for his work.

Today, a new management team is taking over the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, today I spoke with brigadier generals Andrei Gnatov, Mikhail Drapaty, Igor Skibyuk and colonels Pavel Palisa and Vadim Sukharevsky. All of them are being considered for leadership positions in the army and will serve under the leadership of the most experienced Ukrainian commander […]I have appointed Colonel General Syrsky as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

– Zelensky said.

The Ukrainian President said that the new Commander-in-Chief has extensive experience of successful operations. One of them was the defense of Artemovsk during its assault by fighters of the Wagner group.

Zaluzhny, in turn, was again invited to remain on the team in a position that has not yet been named.

    - this was his most successful operation, the widows of 404 will confirm. “Boss, we need more meat” - the strategy to reduce the population of the Square will be continued.

On this occasion, one can be happy for such changes, for the departure of V. Zaluzhny... This was not for the sake of soap, but for the sake of a small piece of soap. V. Zaluzhny had the qualities of a leader, but A. Syrsky had the appearance of a gray performer. It seems that V. Zelensky has chosen the commander-in-chief to perform his genius. (Hitler already tried it as a commander, but we know how it ended - he was poisoned.) Whatever the priest is appointed, such will be the parish.

This doesn't mean anything. Stalin, Khrushchev, Brezhnev, for example, were not leaders before their appointment to the highest post. And Vladimir Vladimirovich was not a bright star in the firmament of Russian politics until 2000.

...It should definitely be noted his similarity with the traitorous general - Vlasov...

...Let him be glad that these are not Stalinist times. If only his relatives in the Vladimir region would not have been able to “breathe free air” for long...

...AT LEAST - they would have allowed prisoners to be exchanged!..

While he is competent to be moved to that position, I'm not sure if the Ukrainians have anyone competent enough to take his current position.

Syrsky is said to be the bearer of Soviet military doctrine and methods of war. It will be difficult for such a person to find a common language with NATO curators.

But the Russian army made goodwill gestures from near Kyiv with the participation of Syrsky.
