Ukraine used a new kamikaze jet UAV against Russia
The Russians showed the wreckage of a new kamikaze jet UAV, which Ukraine began to use against the Russian Federation. The American publication TWZ reported this on February 7, citing photographs on social networks.
The publication suggests that this is the latest attack drone, about which there is little data. Neither its origin (manufacturer) nor its exact capabilities (characteristics) are known. However, the photographs reveal some details about its design and components.
However, this once again signals Ukraine's increasingly active development of long-range, one-way attack drones as a means of engaging Russia more directly.

It is not yet clear whether this drone crashed for reasons unrelated to the influence of the Russians, or whether it was shot down by some kind of air defense system of the Russian Armed Forces. The fuselage of the UAV is approximately 10 meters long and painted black, the delta wing has the same span and color with a curved leading edge, and the tail is swept-back.
Russian paramilitary publicists and bloggers have signaled that the drone has a wooden structure with some carbon fiber parts and fiberglass skin. It is powered by a P400-PRO microturbojet engine from the German company JetCat, mounted in the tail section and fed through a conformal air intake under the fuselage.
This turbojet powerplant weighs only about eight pounds, has a diameter of just under six inches, and has a thrust rating of 95 pounds. It is often used by hobbyists in high-end RC airplane models and can be purchased online for between $10 and $12.

However, no evidence of the existence of any guidance system was found. This suggests that, like many other drones, it is controlled autonomously using an autopilot and hits a pre-selected set of coordinates.
Among the debris, striking elements in the form of balls are also visible. Roughly, they are similar to those used in the high-explosive fragmentation warhead of another Ukrainian kamikaze UAV - the UJ-26 Beaver - with a screw design from the UkrJet company. At the same time, UkrJet already has its own drone with a jet engine - the stealthy UJ-25 Skyline, which was adapted from a target UAV.
