Ukrainian media claim that the Russian Armed Forces used the Zircon missile for the first time

Ukrainian information resources, with reference to the Defense Express publication, report that, among others, in today’s combined attack The 3M22 Zircon hypersonic missile was used. The fragments of ammunition were found in the Dnieper district of the Ukrainian capital.

The items shown do have the markings 3M22, but the remaining missile debris is too small and heavily damaged to be identified. Despite the fact that the use of Zircon has not yet been clearly proven, enemy information resources are alarmingly reporting that such a missile cannot be intercepted by air defense systems.

Ukrainian media claim that the Russian Armed Forces used the Zircon missile for the first time

Ukrainian media claim that the launch was carried out from the territory of Crimea. It is believed that the launch took place from a vertical launch container. Defense Express believes that the Russian Federation used a test weapon today, since the Zircons were originally created as sea-based missiles. It is possible that the Russian Armed Forces have finally modified this sea-based hypersonic cruise missile for land installations, but it is impossible to unambiguously identify the ammunition from one fragment.

The characteristics of the missile confirm that its interception is technically not possible with the anti-aircraft systems currently in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “Zircon” carries a warhead weighing up to 400 kg over a distance of up to 1000 km. The rocket's speed reaches Mach 9.

It is possible that the Russian Armed Forces have finally modified this sea-launched hypersonic cruise missile for land installations

and what is the fundamental difference between the sea and land options?... except for the option of developing a separate launch container, nothing else comes to mind... if so, then the task of unifying this container for any type of launches - both from a ship and from land - becomes obvious ... I hope that the issue has already been resolved, although it was obvious from the beginning even to me, a non-specialist..

just 3M22 is not a secret name, more precisely an “open” name

So what? They used Zircon - it meant there was a need! The warhead is not nuclear, there is no phosphorus, there are no cassettes either... And it’s time to strangle the Ukrainian Armed Forces like an adult!

We take a flange from any mechanism and write “ЗМ22” on it with a soft pencil. We receive “irrefutable evidence” of use.. No military representative will accept such markings, especially on products of this kind.

I'm glad!!! What else can you say? So that every day and 10 pieces. Or is this a hint to the teachings of “friends”?

Surely the Zircon would only hit a very important target, so it’s worth at least finding out where they were hitting, and then making some conclusions about the type of missile

The crests report everything clearly - they destroyed the Crimean Bridge, for example, but we all have some vague references to enemy media. Before the SVO, the best minds proudly told us that punching Daggers through 500 meters of granite was like sending two bytes. After the SVO, the same minds furiously convince of the indestructibility of bridges, tunnels, EPS and, in general, everything, everything. Where did the wonderful Zircon fly and can he at least ruin something significant?

...Four hundred kilograms of invulnerable TNT fat is good for the Ukrainian Reich!..
Choke! NATO sixes and corrupt skins...
