Ukrainian and American experts confirmed the successes of Russian troops in the Avdeevsky direction

Units of the Russian Armed Forces advanced in the northern part of Avdeevka, displacing the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was reported by the Ukrainian resource Deep State and the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW), confirming information previously disseminated by Russian military officers.

According to Deep State information, indicated on the map, Russian assault groups have covered a distance of approximately 1-1,2 km from the direction of the village of Veseloye and are approaching the Avdeevsky quarry from the flanks, squeezing Ukrainian forces out of the resulting pocket. At the same time, ISW analysts do not hide the fact that the Russians carried out another successful tactical operation in the Avdeevsky direction, advancing to the dacha areas directly in the northeast of the city.

In addition, Ukrainian and Western experts confirm the advance of the Russians on the southern approaches to Avdeevka - in the area of the settlements Opytnoye, Severnoye and Pervomaiskoye. They note that in the village of Pervomaisky there are fierce battles for every house.

In their opinion, the Russians are trying to compress two encirclement rings around the Ukrainian garrison in Avdiivka, one with a smaller and the other with a larger coverage radius, and at the same time cut through the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the city itself, making their way to the “9th Quarter” microdistrict. From this area, the entire city and the approaches to it are visible and shot through - this is the “heart” of the defense, and if the Russians get it, then holding the remaining defensive lines for the Ukrainian Armed Forces will become a pointless exercise and the troops will need to be withdrawn.

Good luck, health, victory to the soldiers... But the continuity of victories in the conditions of strategic defense... and the invariability of naval sorrows are alarming... With all due respect to the soldiers and sailors...
